This Opportunity:
<ul>
<li>Supervise the payroll function. Ensure compliance with deadlines.</li>
<li>Be trained and able to fully perform the payroll function anytime necessary.</li>
<li>Develop, execute, and monitor processes to ensure accuracy.</li>
<li>Develop and publish necessary internal communications.</li>
<li>Perform administrator functions for the payroll software.</li>
<li>Provide information for various annual audits, and manage the ESOP and 401k audit, making sure the various participants comply with deadlines.</li>
<li>Pull data and prepare spreadsheets to list employees and related wages eligible for ESOP plan contribution.</li>
<li>Manage ESOP administration, distribution, and diversification processes, provide information needed by recordkeeper, analyze and review information provided by the recordkeeper. Ensure compliance with deadlines.</li>
<li>Manage Fidelity 401(k) portal, access setup and review, SPD revisions and review.</li>
<li>Collaborate with HR on benefits and any other necessary issues.</li>

Essential Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or closely related field</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience managing all aspects of the payroll function while meeting deadlines and adhering to compliance standards</li>
<li>Capability and readiness to independently handle payroll operations at any time, without prior notice</li>
<li>Experience with audit processes related to payroll, ESOP, and 401(k) compliance</li>
<li>Proven expertise in the development and execution of internal processes designed to streamline and accurately execute the payroll process</li>
<li>Ability to develop and publish communications in an effort to educate and engage internal stakeholders</li>
<li>Demonstrated proficiency with ADP and Workday systems with ability to work in an administrator capacity</li>

<li>Experience with payroll software administration and system implementation</li>
<li>Experience with ESOP administration and 401(k) plan management</li>

<li>Working knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations (FLSA, tax laws, ACA, etc.)</li>

Preferred Qualifications:

Job Purpose:To provide primary operational support for the Payroll Manager by administering the day to day aspects of all payroll tasks in the Admin office.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

<li>Reviews and approves weekly agency payroll.</li>
<li>Reviews and approves agencies’ PAR, payroll action requests.</li>
<li>Prepares payroll cost report for Admin – Accounting for weekly and monthly reporting needs before Tuesdays 9:00AM.</li>
<li>Reviews federal and multi state tax returns for distribution centers.</li>
<li>Support WCD distribution center payroll supervisors’ inquiries and requests to solve payroll issues.</li>
