The Programming Specialist plans and conducts recreation and music activities for youth in our care as well as assist community groups, when indicated, who may schedule to use our facilities. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

PROGRAM SUMMARY
Bethany Children’s Home provides individualized services to youth between the ages of 6 and 20 in a residential home setting on our beautiful rural campus located in Womelsdorf. Youth have opportunities to participate in a variety of therapeutic, spiritual, recreational and cultural services while they heal from past traumas. 
EXPECTED STANDARDS FOR ALL BETHANY TEAM MEMBERS
All Bethany Team Members must be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent and be prepared to meet the diverse needs, level of care, supervision, safety, and wellbeing of youth in Bethany’s service. All Team Members share in the responsibility of upholding Department of Human Services Regulations and Bethany program expectations including:
<ul>
<li>Adhering to all policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Performing all expected work responsibilities in a safe manner.</li>
<li>Treating all children, families and Team Members with respect and courtesy.</li>
<li>Completing and maintaining all mandated and required training within required agency timeframes.</li>

Bethany programs serve an at-risk population referred by county Children and Youth Services or Juvenile Probation. Children and youth served may have experienced trauma, abuse, neglect, exposure to addictive substances and trafficking. Team Members, as a collective whole, are expected to have working knowledge of how to address such individuals directly and assist them through treatment, or refer them to someone who is qualified. Team Members are expected to have the knowledge and skills to recognize, treat or refer to appropriate professionals the following:

<li>Abide by mandated reporting requirements.</li>
<li>Systematically gather data, determine the readiness of an individual for treatment and change, apply accepted criteria for the diagnosis of substance use disorder or other detrimental addictions or behaviors. </li>

<li>Monitor for danger to self or others. </li>
<li>Document mental health concerns. </li>

The Administrator has oversight and executive responsibility for management and operations of the Ambulatory Surgery Center. They are responsible for the overall day-to-day operations as well as the strategic leadership, planning, direction, and coordination of activities within the clinical and support services. The Administrator reports to the Director of Ambulatory Surgery on behalf of the Board. 
Essential Functions

<li>Provide leadership, motivation, coaching, and support to foster and strengthen the growth and development of a high-performing clinical team.</li>
<li>Plan, implement, deliver, and evaluate patient care services and the Center's goals/objectives, striving to exceed performance measurements set annually by administration.</li>
<li>Direct and support efforts to achieve and revise staffing standards, including recruitment, retention, and human resource utilization.</li>
<li>Manage the financial and strategic planning of the Surgery Center. </li>
<li>Collaborates with Ambulatory Services Management to develop and execute the facilities operation plan.</li>

The Position is a senior-level leader responsible for the daily business operations of the church, ensuring that all financial, administrative, human resource, and facilities functions align with the ministry's mission, vision, and values. This role also provides leadership in financial stewardship planning and management, fostering a culture of biblical stewardship throughout the congregation.

Qualifications
Spiritual
<ul>
<li>Born-again believer in Jesus Christ, baptized by immersion, and in good standing with a local church.</li>
<li>Demonstrates spiritual maturity consistent with the qualifications in 1 Timothy 3:1–7 and Titus 1:7–9.</li>
<li>Models integrity, humility, and servant leadership.</li>
<li>Holds firmly to biblical truth, able to encourage believers and refute false teaching.</li>

&nbsp;Educational &amp; Professional
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field.</li>
<li>Minimum 3–5 years of experience in church administration or equivalent leadership role.</li>

<li>Proven ability in business and financial analysis, strategic planning, and decision-making.</li>
<li>Strong communication, relational, and conflict resolution skills.</li>

Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
<ol>
<li>Oversee and coordinate all daily business, stewardship, and strategic planning functions.</li>
<li>Maintain an efficient financial recordkeeping and reporting system; develop and uphold bookkeeping policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Process all accounts payable/receivable and payroll; file all city, county, state, and federal reports.</li>
<li>Prepare and manage the church's annual operational budget in collaboration with the Executive Team and Trustees.</li>
<li>Maintain administrative and HR.</li>
</ol>
Human Resources &amp; Personnel
<ol>
<li>Maintain personnel records for all staff and volunteers.</li>
<li>Oversee recruitment, hiring, training, evaluation, and, when necessary, dismissal or reassignment.</li>
<li>Provide coaching and conflict resolution for staff and ministry leaders.</li>
</ol>
Financial Stewardship Development
<ol>
<li>Lead in developing a church-wide culture of stewardship and discipleship.</li>
<li>Provide financial reports to the Executive Team, Trustees, Treasurer, and congregation.</li>
<li>Manage requisitions, purchase orders, and vendor relationships.</li>
</ol>
Strategic &amp; Ministry Support
<ol>
<li>Serve as a resource for business, legal, and public relations matters.</li>
<li>Assist the Senior Pastor in strategic planning, ensuring operational alignment with the church's mission and objectives.</li>
<li>Support ministry events and initiatives, working collaboratively with staff and members to achieve church goals.</li>
</ol>

Minimum Requirements
<ul>
<li>Associate's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Systems or certifications in specific IT subject matter preferred, but not required</li>
<li>At least 3 years of experience supporting or implementing technology solutions</li>
<li>Experience with the following technologies preferred</li>
<li>Enterprise storage systems</li>
<li>Virtualization technologies</li>
<li>Microsoft server operating systems</li>
<li>Microsoft server solutions including Exchange Server and SQL Server</li>
<li>Specifically, experience with NetApp and VMware</li>
<li>Cisco and Aruba networking background is a plus</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li>
<li>Excellent ability to multitask and maintain high levels of quality</li>
<li>Must be able to work as a valued member in a team environment</li>
</ul>
 
Physical Abilities Required
Ability to rack servers, switches, and other datacenter equipment.
