Job Description
This Technician II position will provide efficient and high-quality installations related to integrated security systems. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to performing startup, installation, closeout and service of jobs; assisting in design and other tasks as assigned while delivering on Paladin Technologies commitments.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul>
<li>Installs, terminates and tests equipment as per specifications and in conjunction with any pertaining building and or electrical codes.</li>
<li>Responsible for training apprentices on Company procedures, systems, and installation techniques.</li>
<li>Work with Field Engineers on startup to ensure complete system compliance.</li>
<li>Daily communications with Installation Supervisor&nbsp;on delays, requirements, and general status of jobs to ensure delivery of the project</li>
<li>Work with Installation Supervisor&nbsp;to ensure complete closeout and turnover of jobs to the client and service department</li>
<li>Repair, restore and test all systems per specifications and in conjunction with any pertaining building and or electrical codes.</li>
<li>Accurate written record keeping, submitted on time and complete,</li>
<li>Maintain professional licensing as required by State and Local jurisdictions</li>
<li>Support, lead, and mentor team members &nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Design systems and layout&nbsp;</li>
<li>Maintain a high level of safety and professionalism&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Lead projects at a site level, manage a team of junior technicians as necessary&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

<li>Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record.</li>

<li>Minimum 2 years working in the electronic field with daily use of AC/DC theory</li>
<li>Ability to read blue prints and schematics as evidenced by 1 year of experience</li>

What You'll Do:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, state and federal laws; e.g., OSHA, ADA, Fair Housing, etc. PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE/SAFETY • Checks and replaces exterior lighting on a regular basis. • If certified for pool maintenance, clean and maintain the pool as directed. • Maintains awareness of proper safety precautions at all times. • Constantly observes the condition of apartment property throughout the community and immediately reports and/or initiates action to correct unsafe conditions. • Needs to be aware of all utility meter cut-offs, apartment, and fixture cut-offs, sewer cleanouts. • Ensures that storage areas always remain locked when not in use. TRAINING • Complete all Grace Hill courses by the required deadlines. Commissions and bonuses will not be paid for anyone with past due Grace Hill courses. GENERAL • Physically walks the property on a frequent basis and removes litter, debris, cigarette butts and pet droppings from the grounds. It is especially critical that the following areas remain neat and free of litter at all times.

<li>Details property on a regular basis. Cleans and rakes shrub areas; shovels mud when necessary. Use a blower to keep sidewalks and walking areas clean of loose grass and brush.</li>
<li>Repairs and replaces windows, screens, sliding glass doors, etc. Performs routine maintenance on property as requested by the manager and senior maintenance technician.</li>
<li>Assists with various physical tasks as directed; e.g., tearing down fences, digging post holes, carrying abandoned sofas, liens, etc.</li>
<li>Assists with "make-ready" duties when requested by the manager or senior maintenance technician.</li>
<li>Helps clean and maintain storage and shop areas.</li>
<li>Performs interior and exterior painting duties when requested. Carries buckets of paint from storage area to work site.</li>
<li>Completes minor and routine service requests when requested by the manager and/or senior maintenance technician. Follow procedures when service requests are performed.</li>
<li>Changes locks, rekeys, and makes keys when directed.</li>
<li>Distributes resident communications to residents; e.g., upcoming events, pest control notices, newsletters.</li>
<li>Performs work area clean-up and safety-related duties.</li>
<li>Assists in keeping grounds neat and free of litter. Rakes, sweeps, shovels as circumstances&nbsp;warrant.</li>
<li>Performs any additional duties assigned by senior maintenance technician and manager.</li>

QUALIFICATIONS Must meet all physical requirements and be able to take direction. Work Hours: 30 hours per week. Weekly schedule may change as required. Weekends as circumstances warrant.
