Job Overview
The position of Director of Sales is responsible for planning and directing all sales activities for KSTP-TV (ABC affiliate), KSTC-TV (full power independent), MeTV, and the stations’ digital products. This position is also responsible for meeting and exceeding revenue goals by developing sales managers and sales staff, creating a solid and creative sales strategy, building on an already customer-focused sales culture, and being an essential part of a dynamic station management team
Job Responsibilities

<li>Create, communicate and implement a sales strategy that will grow the stations’ on-air and digital ad revenue</li>
<li>Set and maintain sales targets and new business development goals for Local, National and Digital Sales</li>
<li>Drive expected revenue performance as well as create new ideas and "outside the box" revenue streams from new technologies and growing television markets, and develop business models to monetize these revenue streams</li>
<li>Responsible for building and managing the department’s annual budget</li>
<li>Oversee sales and traffic departments and ensure employees work and sell with integrity while upholding company sales standards. Clearly communicate expectations of performance and establish and maintain a professional and motivated staff</li>

Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Minimum five years prior experience in a broadcast, digital sales or marketing role.&nbsp; TV sales management highly preferred</li>
<li>Minimum three years prior experience managing a sales team with direct responsibility in strategic planning, growing revenue, and teaching and motivating sales staffs</li>
<li>Familiarity with and understanding of the laws and rules of the broadcasting industry, including those of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) (e.g., sponsorship identification, “payola-plugola,” political broadcasting, etc.)</li>

<li>Great people skills with a solid background in building and cultivating strategic relationships both internal and external</li>

The Holly Springs Salamanders are seeking a skilled individual to serve as the announcer for sponsored promotions, player introductions (home and visiting), and the official script during all Holly Springs Salamanders home games and select special events. This role requires the ability to follow direction and adapt quickly to last-minute changes typical of live events.
Candidates must have a clear, professional speaking voice and be available to work all 32 Holly Springs Salamanders home games.
Previous experience as a PA Announcer or host is required.
