Responsibilities
A Teller is responsible to create and deliver a positive customer experience while conducting financial transactions. This position requires an individual with a positive attitude, who is a team player, and who is able to actively listen for customer financial needs in order to refer them to the appropriate bank product or bank representative. A Teller must be able to adapt well to the changing workplace environment such as customer service complaints; maintain the security of customer information; prioritize items of significance; and maintain responsibility for assigned cash drawer.
Essential Responsibilities:

POSITION PURPOSE

Deerwood Bank is hiring a part-time Teller to work in its Bemidji, MN branch. This position is responsible for performing a variety of duties such as proper handling of teller work, cash, accurately balancing, deposits, checks, payments promoting various bank products and services as well as other tasks as assigned. This position demands a high level of customer service skills, attention to detail and adherence to all bank policies and procedures. 
Hours: Monday - Friday starting between 11am/3pm and working until 6pm; Also 2 to 3 Saturdays a month from 8am-12pm.
Starting Pay Rate: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour; Saturdays are paid at double time.
Functions, Duties and Responsibilities:

<li>Assists customers and staff with various retail, operations and customer service support.</li>
<li>Receives customer deposits for all accounts and payments. Verifying customer balances and requiring proper identification and documentation. </li>
