The Certified Surgical Technician (“CST”) is responsible for helping our O.R. to run smoothly. You will ensure we are prepared with the right instruments and tools at the right time. You will have a working knowledge of all operating room equipment including emergency equipment used in CPR. You will maintain a working knowledge of surgical instruments, and are responsible for their care, maintenance, and cleaning (sterilization included). You will recognize equipment malfunction and be able to do minor troubleshooting. OUR EXPECTATIONS OF YOU
