Compensation &amp; Benefits
<ul>
<li>Hourly Rate: $38–$42/hour ($79,040–$87,360 annually base off 40 Hr. work week)</li>
<li>On-Call Pay: $150 per scheduled on-call shift</li>
<li>Paid Time Off: Start with 48 hours, increasing to 168 hours with tenure</li>
<li>Paid Holidays: 7 annually (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas)</li>

Position Overview: Lead Commercial HVAC Technician
As a Lead Commercial HVAC Technician, you’ll play a key leadership role supporting your Regional Service Manager and team. You’ll ensure operational excellence, safety, and quality service delivery across your assigned region.
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Conduct monthly audits to ensure compliance with company standards</li>
<li>Perform truck inspections (cleanliness, equipment, PPE)</li>
<li>Conduct site assessments (e.g., roof cleanliness, proper disposal of materials)</li>
<li>Verify quality of repairs and installations</li>
<li>Ensure team members have proper PPE and coordinate replenishment</li>
<li>Approve vendors for operational needs</li>
<li>Assist with technician vacation planning and on-call scheduling</li>
<li>Lead PM completion efforts and ensure accurate documentation</li>
<li>Support training coordination for technicians</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned by the Division Manager</li>
<li>Serve as the primary point of contact for field support, providing assistance to technicians and designated clients.</li>
</ul>
Location: Field-based role in Houston, TX, with occasional travel for training or meetings.
Qualifications Experience
<ul>
<li>5+ years of commercial HVAC and refrigeration experience</li>
<li>3 - 5 years in a supervisory or lead technician role</li>
<li>Proven ability to manage teams, conduct audits, and ensure safety and quality compliance</li>
<li>Experience with preventive maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and equipment changeouts</li>
<li>Familiarity with national accounts or multi-site operations (preferred)</li>
</ul>
Certifications
<ul>
<li>EPA Universal Certification (required)</li>
<li>Additional certifications such as NATE or HVAC Excellence are a plus</li>
</ul>
Physical Requirements
<ul>
<li>Climb ladders while carrying up to 30 lbs</li>
<li>Lift up to 75 lbs and maneuver in confined spaces</li>
<li>Wear required PPE</li>
</ul>
Additional Requirements
<ul>
<li>Valid driver’s license</li>
<li>Ability to pass drug, background, and driving record checks</li>
<li>Meet enhanced security clearance requirements</li>
<li>Flexibility for overtime and occasional travel</li>
</ul>
Skills &amp; Abilities
<ul>
<li>Proficiency in servicing, installing, and troubleshooting:
<ul>
<li>Commercial HVAC systems</li>
<li>Refrigeration systems and ice machines</li>
<li>Chillers, cooling towers, water source heat pumps</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Strong customer service and communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and manage time effectively</li>
<li>Familiarity with light commercial equipment</li>
<li>Experience with industry software (e.g., ServiceTitan, FastField, ServiceChannel – preferred but not required)</li>
</ul>
