JOB COMPONENTS/PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

<li>Provide leadership and expertise in program preparation for CCNE accreditation.</li>
<li>Plan short term, intermediate and long-term development and improvement of the BSN Program.</li>

<li>Serves as the formal liaison between the BSN Program, the community at large and healthcare agencies to secure quality clinical sites.</li>
<li>Promotes collegiate initiatives between colleges/universities and articulates the program’s contributions in local, state, regional, national and international arenas of nursing and healthcare.</li>
<li>Participates in securing grant/scholarship funds to support program expansion and improvement.</li>
<li>Develop programmatic effectiveness with nursing faculty and staff that includes the integration of technology, including simulation and informatics.</li>
<li>Responsible for recruiting and hiring full-time and adjunct faculty and staff.</li>
<li>Performs other duties as requested, delegated or assigned.</li>

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
&nbsp;All qualifications are required unless otherwise indicated.

<li>Must have licensure or be eligible for licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Illinois</li>

Department Chairperson, RN-BSN Program

The Chief of Endocrinology will provide strategic leadership and direction for all aspects of the&nbsp;Division. The Division Chief will be responsible for all planning, policy, operations, and&nbsp;oversight of academic, research, and clinical programs of the Division. The Chief of Endocrinology&nbsp;will have financial authority over the division&nbsp; budget, including extramural research and&nbsp;philanthropic funding received and other financial matters for the division, in accordance with&nbsp;applicable University policies and practices.
