The USU Department of Medical and Clinical Psychology (MPS), F. Edward Hébert School of Medicine (SOM), in Bethesda, Maryland, invites applicants for the position of Assistant or Associate Professor (tenure-eligible track). MPS has a doctoral program in Clinical Psychology accredited by the American Psychological Association. Duties:&nbsp;The incumbent will serve as an Assistant or Associate Professor in MPS, and as such, will be responsible for teaching MPS graduate-level courses in areas of major expertise, mentoring military and/or civilian doctoral students, overseeing thesis and dissertation studies, and providing lectures to medical and graduate students as needed. The incumbent will engage in programmatic research with the expectation to develop a nationally visible, extramurally supported program of research in support of USU and/or the DoD mission. Qualification Requirements: Requires a minimum of an earned Ph.D. degree in Clinical Psychology, Health Psychology, or relevant psychology field from an accredited university or institution; experience in graduate-level teaching and mentorship, curriculum design, and research; demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations in an inclusive manner; exceptional interpersonal skills; outstanding written and oral communication skills; academic accomplishments, reflected by scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals appropriate to the academic rank; and active membership and involvement in scholarly societies.
The successful candidate must be academically qualified for a faculty appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in accordance with SOM and USU academic policies.

Assistant Professor Internal Medicine Interventional Pulmonology Critical Care 

The Director of Major Gifts is a member of Friends of the High Line’s Individual Giving team, which encompasses membership, major gifts, and planned giving. The Director manages the major gifts program, which raises $2-3 million annually. A key frontline fundraiser, the Director personally cultivates and stewards an existing portfolio of donors and prospects, while supporting major gifts fundraising by FHL senior leaders. The Director also supports cultivation strategy, prospecting, and revenue projections for the entire major gifts program. This role reports to the Senior Director of Individual Giving and Board Relations, and works collaboratively with the Director of Individual Giving, Director of Development Operations, and others across FHL teams.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Manage a portfolio of 150+ individual donors and prospects through personalized correspondence, proposals, and engagements, with an emphasis on cultivating and soliciting 5-to-6 figure gifts.</li>
<li>Direct the Major Gifts program, working with the Senior Director of Individual Giving to set revenue projections and donor cultivation strategies for other senior FHL fundraisers including the Executive Director and Chief Advancement Officer.</li>
<li>Supervise the Individual Giving Coordinator on the administration and execution of the Major Gifts program.</li>
<li>Pursue an active schedule of donor engagements and meetings (5-10 meaningful donor interactions/month on average), and maintain a detailed donor pipeline report via CRM.</li>
<li>Conduct regular analysis of FHL’s donor and prospect pipeline to identify opportunities to grow philanthropic support, and collaborate with the Director of Individual Giving to identify upgrade prospects from membership program.</li>
<li>Proactively identify and qualify new prospects, including for restricted program support, to grow the Major Gifts pipeline.</li>
<li>Plan cultivation and stewardship events for the Major Gifts portfolio in partnership with the Director of Individual Giving and Special Events team.</li>
<li>Work with Individual Giving Coordinator to prepare memos for senior leadership meetings with donors, including setting meeting objectives and talking points.</li>
<li>Maintain current knowledge of organizational funding areas and identify prospective donors for those needs.</li>
<li>Draft fundraising materials for a wide range of FHL priorities including general operations as well as restricted funding opportunities, to capitalize on major gift donor interests and support year-end major gift fundraising.</li>
<li>Support the execution of FHL’s growing Planned Giving program, including engaging 1:1 with planned giving donors and prospects.</li>

Requirements:

<li>8-10 years of experience in fundraising, with an emphasis on major gifts.</li>
<li>Frontline fundraising experience and demonstrated success raising five and six-figure or more gifts</li>

This career opportunity is available with the scheduled retirement (late-March, 2025) of the library director, who has served as director for nearly 11 years. The library director reports to the board of trustees and oversees a management team, comprised of the managers of the library’s four key divisions: business office, operations, youth services, and public services.
A four-year degree in a relevant field of study; at least five years of progressively responsible experience in library administration; knowledge of library best practices, trends, issues, and industry software and databases; or any equivalent combination of education and experience are all required. A master’s degree in library science or library information science from an ALA- accredited school or program, or in a related field is also required. Desired qualifications include advanced training in management, public or business administration, and human resources, and the ability to speak Spanish. The hiring range for this position is $117,709 to $147,136 DOQE. Retirement benefits are through the well-regarded Colorado Public Employees’ Retirement Association (PERA) in lieu of social security, with an optional PERAPlus 401(k) available. Qualifications
Must have MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent) and a minimum of one-year pain medicine fellowship training (or foreign equivalent).&nbsp; Must be Board certified or eligible (or foreign equivalent) in anesthesiology and be eligible for medical licensure in state of Washington.&nbsp; In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-US) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the US Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
