The George Washington University Law Library seeks a qualified librarian for its Head of Legal Technology &amp; Instructional Services position to begin as early as September 15, 2023. As a member of the library’s dynamic, collaborative Instructional Technology Services team, the librarian in this position has primary oversight for the Office of Legal Technology &amp; Instructional Services. This position leads the development and delivery of services supporting the integration of library resources into the curriculum, the curation and use of the library’s growing electronic resources collection, the use of scholarly communication technologies and services, and the undertaking of digital initiatives. As the subject specialist for legal pedagogy and technology competency, this position works to improve student success by embedding the library in online teaching and learning spaces, integrating librarians into the face-to-face curriculum, and supporting faculty adoption of technologies to achieve learning outcomes.
The Law Library supports the curricular and teaching requirements of the Law School, the research and publication needs of the law faculty, and the study and research needs of the law students; and provides to the scholarly community at large access to a research collection of material about the law and its history. We are looking for an Industrial Automation Specialist (SMART Components) to join our Rexel USA team in Denver, CO!
Summary: The Industrial Automation Specialist position is responsible for the growth of sales and customer application pre-sales and post-sales support for a specific group(s) of automation products and services. What You'll Do:
<ul>
<li>Meet or exceed sales goals of assigned technology offer</li>
<li>Develop sales strategies, promotions, programs, and plans for sales growth</li>
<li>Develop annual performance goals, objectives, and sales action plans</li>
<li>Prepare periodic sales funnel, weekly sales reports, etc.</li>
<li>Provide technical support for internal and external customers via on-site visit, phone, and email. This could include, but is not limited to troubleshooting products, finding technical documentation and specifications, product selection and, other requested activities</li>
<li>Establish relationships with sales and customers to better understand sales potential</li>
<li>Ascertain customer needs by customer visits, phone, and other means of research (internet, etc.)</li>
<li>Work with sales to establish joint strategies and activities</li>
<li>Provide expert knowledge to Inside Sales to facilitate quoting, order entry, and order expediting</li>
<li>Create and present technical and commercial training for internal and external customers</li>
<li>Describe or demonstrate product to customers</li>
<li>Follow up on all business leads assigned by management, marketing, technical department, or supplier partners</li>
<li>Acquire, use, and continuously develop personal technical knowledge</li>
<li>Provide oral and/or written quotations, proposals or estimates of prices, scope of work, terms, and delivery</li>
<li>Work with prospective customers to move projects through the sales cycle to conclusion</li>
<li>Properly prepare for sales calls, customers events, etc.</li>
<li>Work with Purchasing on proper inventory of high-tech products and identify any potential obsolesce problems</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned</li>

<li>Electrical distribution industry or related experience required</li>
<li>Valid Driver’s License</li>
<li>High School or GED - Required</li>

<li>Intermediate/advanced computer skills, specifically with Excel/Outlook/Word</li>
