Qualifications:

As Manager of Hotel Openings &amp; Transitions Americas, you will facilitate the hotel opening process for new construction, conversion hotels, and internal brand to brand changes for all Client brands, as well as the exit process for hotels that transition out of our system. You will act as one of the primary faces of client and foster relationships with owners, management groups and hotel level management to ensure that all required critical tasks are completed and hotels are set up to achieve optimal performance upon joining our systems. You will represent the brand and the openings team as required with internal support teams such as but not limited to, Revenue Management, Architecture, Design and Construction, and eCommerce.

Job Title: Director of Catering (DOC)
Company: Marvin Love and Associates
Salary: $85,000 annually
Incentive: Up to 40%
Location: Southeast - AL
Marvin Love and Associates is seeking a talented and experienced Director of Catering (DOC) to oversee the catering operations across our clients’ properties. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of service and quality in all catering offerings while achieving financial targets and fostering an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:

<li>Develop and implement catering strategies that align with company goals and exceed guest expectations</li>
<li>Manage and mentor the catering team to promote professional development and high levels of performance</li>
<li>Coordinate with culinary teams to create innovative menus and ensure food quality and presentation</li>
<li>Oversee event logistics, including setup, service, and breakdown, ensuring seamless execution</li>
<li>Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal departments</li>
<li>Monitor financial performance and develop strategies to drive revenue growth and cost control</li>
</ul>
Requirements:

<li>Proven experience as a Director of Catering or similar role in the hospitality industry</li>
<li>Strong understanding of catering operations, menu development, and event management</li>
<li>Excellent leadership and team management skills</li>
<li>Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities</li>
<li>Proficient in financial planning and budget management</li>
<li>Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations</li>
