Responsibilities/Accountabilities
We have an amazing opportunity for RNs that can:

<li>Order and dispense medications according to physician’s orders </li>
<li>Carry out admissions and re-admissions </li>
<li>Document activities through Point Click Care (PCC), ADL Flow sheet, Restorative Sheets, various treatment sheets, charge sheets, etc., as established by the facility </li>
<li>Direct and supervise the care given by a CNA/Med Aide </li>
<li>Must be able to lift without restrictions </li>
<li>Will also perform other duties as assigned </li>

Experience/Skills/Education
Required:

<li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED) </li>
<li>Current license to work as a Registered Nurse (RN) </li>
<li>Current Adult CPR and First Aid certification</li>

<li>Prescribe psychotropic medications and monitor their effects, adjusting dosages as necessary.</li>
<li>Conduct individual/family therapy sessions with patients regarding mental health management, substance use disorders, emotional disorders, and nutritional deficiencies.</li>
<li>Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and therapists to ensure continuity and holistic care of the patient</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.</li>
<li>Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in psychiatric nursing.</li>
<li>Maintain detailed records of client visits and progress</li>
<li>Development of individualized treatment plans</li>
<li>Order/interpret labs for all clients on caseload</li>
<li>Treat client population in accordance with company guidelines &amp; standard operating procedures</li>
<li>Document in accordance with state and insurance guidelines</li>
<li>Complete forms/letters as requested by clients for various needs</li>
<li>Complete documentation in a timely manner</li>
<li>Complete weekly timesheet</li>
<li>Diagnose and treat all mental health and emotional disorders</li>
<li>Communicate with pharmacies regarding refill requests</li>
<li>Participate in community outreach and education as needed/requested</li>
<li>Completing prior authorizations for medications ordered</li>
<li>Check company email regularly</li>
<li>Provide individual therapy to clients as needed/requested by them</li>

Requirements
<ul>
<li>Masters degree in Nursing with a focus on Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program.</li>
<li>Current ANCC certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).</li>
<li>Active Maryland state nursing license</li>
<li>Malpractice/liability insurance</li>
<li>Active DEA/CDS registrations</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and patient assessment techniques are a plus.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.</li>
<li>Commitment to providing empathetic and culturally competent care.</li>
