BryceTech is currently looking for a Geospatial Analyst. This position will be supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Planning and Exercise Division (PED).
The team effort will focus on the development of deliberate and crisis action plans, plan validation and exercises, training and professional development, data and geospatial analytics, and technical assistance requirements.
The Geospatial Analyst will provide support to PED in areas such as program management, planning, policy, readiness, internal controls, administrative services, and geospatial data visualization. These services must align with industry and government best practices. Resources will be located across FEMA offices to meet the requirements and objectives of the work. The Geospatial Analyst shall operate in both unclassified and classified environments.
The Person in this role shall be responsible for:

<li>Performing geospatial data collection, integration, and analysis to support disaster preparedness, response, and recovery.</li>
<li>Developing and maintaining GIS dashboards, maps, and visualizations to enhance situational awareness and decision-making.</li>
<li>Organizing, structuring, and maintaining geospatial datasets, templates, and tools within FEMA’s Planning Decision Support Catalog (PDSC).</li>
<li>Supporting the design and automation of analytical tools with real-time data feeds (e.g., NWS, DOE, transportation).</li>
<li>Producing decision-support products such as incident journals, lifeline dashboards, and crisis action maps.</li>
<li>Conducting hazard and risk assessments to inform FEMA’s planning and operational coordination.</li>
<li>Supporting national- and regional-level planning workshops, exercises, and briefings with geospatial analysis and visualizations.</li>
<li>Ensuring all geospatial products meet FEMA formatting, branding, and Section 508 compliance requirements.</li>

Qualifications

<li>Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Emergency Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).</li>
<li>Minimum 5–7 years of professional experience in GIS and geospatial analysis, preferably in emergency management or homeland security.</li>

The findings will be incorporated into existing USSTRATCOM workflow processes as requested by the Government. Requirements:

<li>Minimum 2 years of experience in performing GIS analysis and/or modelling.</li>

Job Summary:
 
B&amp;A is looking for a Geospatial Analyst to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission. The Geospatial Analyst will perform cartographic map production tasks as a member of the GIS production team supporting safety of Maritime navigation. You will work independently and as part of a team to complete a variety of tasks including project setup, feature data collection, data conversion, Quality Control (QC), data validation, and product finishing. You will complete geospatial map production tasks using GIS software to include ESRI ArcGIS Pro and FME. 
 
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Have a solid understanding of GIS/mapping software and technology and be familiar with a variety of GIS concepts, practices, and procedures. </li>
<li>Able to work independently and as part of a team to ensure project goals are consistently achieved by being an active contributor, communicator, and completing tasks in a timely manner with a high degree of accuracy. </li>
<li>The ideal candidate will have experience with Geospatial Maritime data production such as Digital Nautical Charts (DNC) or Electronic Navigational Charts (ENC) and be proficient in using ESRI ArcGIS Pro. </li>
</ul>
Education and Experience:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s Degree in Geography, GIS, or related field</li>
<li>3+ years applicable experience or equivalent GIS mapping experience.</li>
</ul>
Required Skills

<li>Must work onsite in Huntsville, AL facility; this position is not remote</li>
<li>Active Secret clearance and ability to maintain Secret clearance</li>
<li>Demonstrated knowledge of the Foundation GEOINT mission and the supporting products and services</li>
<li>You must demonstrate the ability to complete tasks within product accuracy requirements, schedule milestones, and budget</li>
<li>Demonstrated good oral and written communications skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team with little supervision and guidance required.</li>
<li>Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced geospatial production environment.</li>
