General
Eastern Air Express Flight Attendants are expected to maintain the ability to exhibit the values and culture of the company, while working with other team members and customers in a fast-paced/dynamic environment. The successful candidate is a service-oriented professional with an open and available schedule. 
Duties and Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Participate in preflight briefings, produce reports, perform safety checks, and prepare aircraft.</li>
</ul>

<li>Ensure food, beverages, and other supplies are on board, sufficiently stocked, and delivered appropriately. Collect payment and/or provide an inventory of supplies to restock when applicable.</li>
<li>Make announcements, greet customers, check boarding passes, answer passenger questions, assist with bag stowage, and help those needing assistance.</li>
<li>Perform safety demonstrations, instruct customers on emergency equipment and exit row seating requirements, and use audio equipment.</li>
<li>Walk aisles to verify customers' compliance with federal regulations prior to take-offs and landings, as well as conduct periodic checks to ensure customer comfort.</li>
<li>Prepare customers and aircraft for landing, following company procedures and federal regulations.</li>
<li>Respond to any in-flight emergencies by providing necessary direction and assistance to passengers, including administering emergency first aid and completing injury/incident reports.</li>
<li>Complete and submit all required forms, reports, and paperwork.</li>
<li>Treat all customers and vendors with courtesy and respect.</li>
<li>Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.</li>

Qualification Requirements
<ul>
<li>Authorization to work in the United States.</li>
<li>Valid US Passport, not to expire within 6 months.</li>
<li>At least eighteen (18) days per month of availability.</li>
<li>High school diploma, GED, or greater.</li>
<li>Must meet minimum age requirement of 21 years of age.</li>
<li>Ability to pass drug and alcohol checks, pre-employment DOT drug test, and Criminal History Records Check (CHRC).</li>
<li>Must live within a 2-hour radius of either San Antonio, TX or Miami, FL. </li>
<li>Must have and maintain a personal cell phone.</li>
<li>Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently.</li>
<li>Must be able to serve alcoholic beverages.</li>
<li>Customer service experience required; hospitality or retail experience preferred.</li>
<li>Ability to travel to Canada.</li>
<li>Must maintain valid travel documents with no impediment preventing entry to all international destinations.</li>
<li>Ability to lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, stoop, kneel, reach, lift, stretch, and/or bend for periods of up to 14 hours or more. </li>
<li>Ability to work variable blocks of duty days each month with possible extended periods. </li>
<li>Ability to be away from home base to include nights, weekends, and holidays.</li>
<li>Availability to attend and successfully complete Initial Flight Attendant training and Operational Experience.</li>
<li>Must maintain a polished, professional, and conservative appearance.</li>
<li>No visible tattoos or body piercings are allowed while on duty, with no exceptions.</li>
<li>Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a dynamic environment.</li>

As a GoJet Flight Attendant, you will be the sole Flight Attendant on a 50-passenger aircraft flying for United Express. The elite CRJ-550 aircraft is revolutionizing regional flying. Our Flight Attendants oversee safety and security from the boarding to deplaning process, while providing exceptional customer service and creating a memorable experience.
GoJet Airlines is one of the only regional airlines that does not assign your base. The base you apply for is the base you are assigned to.

Minimum Qualifications:

<li>Must be able to make announcements, give emergency orders, and communicate in the English language</li>

<li>Travel documents must remain valid throughout all phases of training and employment</li>

<li>Able to attend up to 6 weeks of paid training in St. Louis, MO</li>
<li>Able to be on call and available to report for duty in your assigned base (reserve duty). Reserve duty may continue for an undetermined number of years.</li>
<li>Must adhere to uniform standards and guidelines and have a professional and conservative appearance. In general, pierced ears as well as tattoos or body piercings that are related to a requirement of your religious beliefs are acceptable. However, tattoos and/or body piercings on your hands, face and neck or that are visible in business attire are not permitted without exception.</li>

Training
Those selected for employment must successfully complete a company paid training program at our Flight Attendant Training Center in Saint Louis, MO as well as hands on evaluation in the aircraft. Training is approximately five-six weeks in length (depending on class size). 
GoJet Flight Attendant candidates will be provided two complimentary training courses through the Inflight Institute. 
One short supplemental video course is mandatory prior to your interview, and a pre-course must be completed and have a 80% or higher score in order to attend our in-person training course in St Louis. These modules assist future flight attendants to understand the journey they are about to partake in.
The Inflight Institute offers many supplemental and aircraft courses. These are not mandatory to receive an interview.
