The Director of Major Gifts is a member of Friends of the High Line’s Individual Giving team, which encompasses membership, major gifts, and planned giving. The Director manages the major gifts program, which raises $2-3 million annually. A key frontline fundraiser, the Director personally cultivates and stewards an existing portfolio of donors and prospects, while supporting major gifts fundraising by FHL senior leaders. The Director also supports cultivation strategy, prospecting, and revenue projections for the entire major gifts program. This role reports to the Senior Director of Individual Giving and Board Relations, and works collaboratively with the Director of Individual Giving, Director of Development Operations, and others across FHL teams.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Manage a portfolio of 150+ individual donors and prospects through personalized correspondence, proposals, and engagements, with an emphasis on cultivating and soliciting 5-to-6 figure gifts.</li>
<li>Direct the Major Gifts program, working with the Senior Director of Individual Giving to set revenue projections and donor cultivation strategies for other senior FHL fundraisers including the Executive Director and Chief Advancement Officer.</li>
<li>Supervise the Individual Giving Coordinator on the administration and execution of the Major Gifts program.</li>
<li>Pursue an active schedule of donor engagements and meetings (5-10 meaningful donor interactions/month on average), and maintain a detailed donor pipeline report via CRM.</li>
<li>Conduct regular analysis of FHL’s donor and prospect pipeline to identify opportunities to grow philanthropic support, and collaborate with the Director of Individual Giving to identify upgrade prospects from membership program.</li>
<li>Proactively identify and qualify new prospects, including for restricted program support, to grow the Major Gifts pipeline.</li>
<li>Plan cultivation and stewardship events for the Major Gifts portfolio in partnership with the Director of Individual Giving and Special Events team.</li>
<li>Work with Individual Giving Coordinator to prepare memos for senior leadership meetings with donors, including setting meeting objectives and talking points.</li>
<li>Maintain current knowledge of organizational funding areas and identify prospective donors for those needs.</li>
<li>Draft fundraising materials for a wide range of FHL priorities including general operations as well as restricted funding opportunities, to capitalize on major gift donor interests and support year-end major gift fundraising.</li>
<li>Support the execution of FHL’s growing Planned Giving program, including engaging 1:1 with planned giving donors and prospects.</li>

Requirements:

<li>8-10 years of experience in fundraising, with an emphasis on major gifts.</li>
<li>Frontline fundraising experience and demonstrated success raising five and six-figure or more gifts</li>
<li>Proven track record of relationship management and using moves management to maximize revenue and donor retention</li>

Coachella Valley Repertory Theatre (CVRep) seeks a full time Major Gift Officer to head their fundraising program for the theatre. Major and Planned Gifts Development:

<li>Manage a portfolio of major gift prospects by building on existing relationships and forming new donor relationships on an ongoing basis.</li>
<li>Identify and steward prospective new donors. Create lists for new donor prospects and make phone calls to such perspective donors. Cultivate the board and committees, soliciting them for annual support as well as special giving opportunities.</li>
<li>Partner with the Executive Artistic Director (EAD) on donor calls and work to schedule meetings to solicit gifts and engage prospects in the life of the theatre. Establish a planned giving program for the theatre and utilize these efforts as part of the opportunities available to support CVRep. <li>Develop and implement fundraising strategies to include the development of case(s) for support for specific needs of the theatre and to use as a cultivation and marketing tool with potential donors.</li>

The Director is responsible for coordinating and assisting in drafting comment letters in response to proposed regulations and notifying selected personnel in the university about proposed regulations or initiatives that may impact university policies, institutional management and operations, or funding levels at the UC. This position coordinates bringing UC experts from throughout the university system to participate in Washington-based advocacy, including briefings and meetings. The Director coordinates UC briefings and programming focused on federal higher education and research-related business and finance issues including labor relations, tax, contractor management, capital assets and infrastructure, economic development and intellectual property, and student athletics. This position serves as one of the university's key representatives with national associations, professional societies, industry groups and DC-based California entities. Position Overview: Food Forward seeks amotivated nonprofit leader experienced in fundraising operationsand project management. The Associate Director, Operations &amp;Annual Giving is a new position that will play a role insolidifying Food Forward’s growth trajectory by enhancing theoperational efficiency of our Development team. The ideal candidateis a strategist who can work collaboratively across teams toinnovate systems and build scalable revenue streams that will serveour mission. Working with the Chief Development Officer, the AssociateDirector will provide new capacity to a high-performing team.Success in year one will include:

<li>Creation of a new KPI/benchmarkreporting workflow that motivates and provides learning for theDevelopment team and the organization’s leadership;</li>

Associate Director, Operations & Annual Giving

Walsh University&nbsp;is seeking a dynamic, energetic, and passionate individual who is enthusiastic about the environment found on a private, values based, Catholic liberal arts campus for the position of&nbsp;Dean of the School of Arts, Sciences and Education (SASE). This Dean will provide strategic leadership to achieve the University and SASE’s strategic goals. This role will enhance the School’s academic reputation, provide an outstanding student experience, and ensure an affirming environment for faculty and staff development. The SASE Dean reports directly to the Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA) and represents SASE in all academic and other pertinent matters. The primary role of the Dean is to serve as the leader of the School of Arts, Sciences and Education aligned with the Walsh University mission and strategic goals.
As a member of the VPAA leadership team providing university-wide leadership, the Dean of SASE works effectively within a shared governance model with other University leaders, including the other school Deans, faculty, staff, and members of the President’s cabinet. In addition, the SASE Dean will work closely with external partners to develop focused and long-lasting relationships that support the growth of the School and University goals and objectives.&nbsp; The Dean (SASE) is responsible for the human, fiscal, and strategic resources for the Divisions of Mathematics and Sciences, Education, Humanities, Communication, Media and Arts and the Honors and General Education Programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Dean of the School of Arts, Sciences, and Education is responsible for the following:

<li>Assure cross-enterprise coordination of efforts by modeling collaboration</li>
<li>Provide strategic and tactical oversight of all programs within the School of Arts, Sciences and Education</li>

Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements
The Dean of the School of Arts, Sciences, and Education must understand and support the Mission, Vision and Code of Ethical Conduct of Walsh University, as a Catholic higher education university as expressed in Ex Corde Ecclesiae, and possess the following:

<li>Terminal degree from an accredited institution in a represented discipline of SASE</li>
<li>Ten years of administrative experience in higher education at the level of a chair or above in a supervisory capacity. Must qualify for appointment at the rank of professor</li>
