IT &amp; Operations Specialist - (Part-Time)
Sunkeeper Solar’s IT &amp; Operations Specialist - (Part-Time) will play a key role in delivering the efficiency and security of Sunkeeper Solar’s techstack. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years’ experience in IT operations, be interested to learn about renewable energy in New York City, and be excited to work in a dynamic environment.
This role is expected to consist of up to 12 hours per week of work between 8am to 5:00pm ET.
Location: Office work will be performed part-time in Sunkeeper's downtown Brooklyn office. This is an in-person position.
Responsibilities: Sunkeeper is a fast-paced and growing company, and applicants for the IT &amp; Operations Specialist position should be flexible and be prepared for a dynamic set of tasks.&nbsp;
Common responsibilities for the position may include:

<li>Actively manage/administrate Google Workspace (GMail, Drive/Shared Drives, etc.)</li>

<li>User On/Offboarding

<li>Completing new device set up(s)</li>
<li>Creating new user profiles accounts across all platforms, manage all user-provisioning</li>
<li>Granting / removing user access, per desired permissions / role types</li>

<li>IT Help Desk
<ul>
<li>Be a central point of contact of all staff to solve IT issues – (software, account, connectivity, etc.)</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Asset Management
<ul>
<li>Selecting, procuring, and deploying various IT assets (user laptops, tablets, network equipment</li>
<li>Cataloging/labelling of all IT assets</li>
<li>Ensuring proper security / safety</li>
</ul>

<li>Network Management
<ul>
<li>Monitoring the existing network and firewall</li>
<li>Troubleshooting performance or connectivity issues</li>

Compensation &amp; Benefits: Base Hourly Range: $28-38 / hour Requirements:

<li>Understanding of best network and endpoint security practices, group policy administration</li>
<li>Experience selecting, procuring, and deploying workplace technology</li>
<li>Physical requirements: While the position is primarily an office position, SKS is a construction company and part of learning the company’s work will include some field work. Applicants should be able to work outside during hot and cold weather, climb ladders, and be comfortable on new building construction sites without an elevator. You will install, inspect, and repair alarm wiring and equipment.
You will work in a commercial setting with other Electricians, mechanical contractors, elevator contractors, and General Contractors.
90% of our work is within 60 miles of Omaha Metro.

Responsibilities:

<li>Troubleshoot and resolve issues with alarms systems</li>
<li>Conduct routine preventative maintenance on alarm systems</li>
<li>Monitor inventory of service parts</li>

Qualifications:

<li>Previous experience in commercial low voltage installation, maintenance, security, new apartment construction commercial wiring, or other related fields</li>

Assistant Project Manager
Sunkeeper Solar’s Assistant Project Manager will play a key role in select solar photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage (BESS) projects in and around the New York Metropolitan Area.
