Summary: Eagle Eye Networks is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Database Administrator (DBA) to design, manage, and optimize the global database infrastructure that powers our industry-leading cloud video surveillance platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in PostgreSQL and Cassandra, and will be excited to work with modern, evolving database technologies at large scale. This role requires strong experience running high-performance, global, distributed databases, designing efficient schemas, and optimizing for performance and reliability. Experience with sharding, high availability, performance tuning, and Kubernetes workloads is strongly preferred. An interest in cutting-edge database technology is a plus.  Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

<li>Expertise in PostgreSQL and Cassandra in large-scale production environments</li>

<li>Ten years in computer systems design, requirements analysis, resource management, and systems implementation.</li>
<li>Five years configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting virtual server environments, blade servers, and network-based data storage environments.</li>
<li>Experience with active directory networks and extensive knowledge of Network Appliance storage systems.</li>

Work Schedule:
The employee will work an 8-hour shift between the hours of 6:15 am to 6:00 pm with a non-compensated 45-minute lunch (See your Project Manager for work schedule and department policies). Additional hours may be required and must be authorized by your Project Manager and DoS Management.&nbsp;This is a hybrid position with 3 days teleworking and 2 days on-site.&nbsp;
