About the Role

Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of experience managing construction teams, with a focus on concrete work and underground utilities.

Construction Project Supervisor

<h3>Job Description</h3>
Job Description
Objective: Oversee all new projects that will be under construction. Role and Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Oversight of project plans and implementation</li>
<li>Assist with design of new projects from initial rough drawings to finalized drawings, project specifications, request of bid from contractor, review bids for accuracy and completeness.</li>
<li>Occasionally design project layout and acquire needed materials to complete specified project</li>
<li>Job site inspections to ensure project specifications are being followed and Pipestone quality standards are being met.</li>
<li>Ensure that all projects for which they are responsible are carried out efficiently</li>
<li>Monitors construction, schedule, and quality control</li>
<li>Provide guidance and technical support to resolve construction problems</li>
<li>Support design engineering phase of projects</li>
<li>Support negotiations with clients and suppliers</li>
<li>Weekly reporting to the Asset management team and additional team members as determined.</li>
<li>Carries out supervisory responsibilities within the Repairs &amp; Maintenance department in accordance with all policies and applicable laws.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications and Education Requirements
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or GED required</li>
<li>BS Degree with an agricultural or construction management focus preferred.</li>
<li>3 – 4 years of construction/maintenance experience or post-secondary education/training in these fields may be substituted for BS degree, preferred.</li>
