Job Summary
Inspectors will perform field inspections to ensure compliance in accordance with the TPDES General Permit and will issue reports from information gathered on job sites and the “middleman” between Greenrise and the client. 
 
Duties &amp; Functions

Communicates with Field Operations Manager/ Field personnel on field issues and to turn in work orders for future work and solve issues while field personnel are onsite. Will also “fine-tune” route to ensure efficiency and productivity. </li>
<li>Vehicle/Equipment: Responsible for the vehicle provided and everything inside of it. Responsible for making sure general maintenance is done and registration is current. Communicates with Management on any major issues that may occur. Responsible for tools and equipment inside of the vehicle. These are provided to make your job as efficient as it can be. </li>

Job DescriptionThe Bryan County Board of Commissioners is now accepting applications for a Full Time Construction Inspector in the Engineering Department. 
 
This position will perform a variety of construction inspection and administrative duties relative to the inspection of site grading, road, water, sewer, storm drain, stormwater management, and sediment &amp; erosion control per the approved plans, permits, and regulatory documents. Reports to the Project Manager with Engineering Department.

The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
Responsible for the inspection and construction administration of all County capital improvement work including roads, drainage, water, sewer, recreational facilities, and building site work. 
Responsible for field inspections, review of construction plans and shop drawings, processing of contractors pay requests, writing daily inspection reports, meet and coordinate work schedules and processes with engineers, contractors and outside public agencies, and management of all other construction related activities. 
Serve as the County Local Issuing Authority (LIA) representative including site inspections, oversight and maintenance of the County Soil Erosion and Sediment Control program, and coordination with the Georgia Environmental Protection Division. 
Assist the County Planning Manager with reviewing Flood Plain details in Evolve and working with the County Code Enforcement Official in addressing drainage and flood related complaints within unincorporated Bryan County. 
Performs other related duties as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED required; Associates Degree preferred in Construction Management. Minimum 3 years field experience in construction inspection of roads, water and sewer. Experience with Word and Excel software. The candidate shall be able to learn and be proficient in the use of the County project management software EVOLVE. Commercial building experience a plus; Possession of a GSWCC Red Card or the ability to readily obtain within six (6) months from the date of hire. Must possess and maintain Driver’s License.

Dieffenbauch &amp; Hritz is currently seeking a motivated Construction Inspector to join our growing inspection team in Morgantown, WV. This qualified candidate will responsible for monitoring construction compliance and erosion and control measures, recording material quantities and project activities and performing compaction testing.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Monitor heavy construction sites to ensure contractors are compliant with plans and specifications of the client.</li>
<li>Document project activities with daily reports and pictures.</li>
<li>Document quantities of materials delivered to the site.</li>
<li>Monitor erosion and control measures.</li>
<li>Perform material sampling and compaction testing with nuclear gauge.</li>
<li>Serve as a liaison between the contractor and client.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>One (1) year experience of construction observation, construction inspection or construction supervision with large scale earth moving projects.</li>
<li>Experience with oil and gas.</li>
<li>Valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle report (MVR).</li>
<li>Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings and a background check.</li>
<li>Able to work overtime and weekends as needed.</li>
<li>PEC Safeland and / or OSHA 10 training preferred.</li>
<li>Experience with compaction testing a plus.</li>
