Determines the usability of communications frequencies and other navigational aids used to control air traffic. Monitors navigational aids and control panels, including tower radar display to determine the acceptability of its alignment and display presentation. Instructs pilots to change radio frequencies/transponder codes.

<li>When appropriate, coordinate with other controllers on the movement of both arrival and departure aircraft.</li>
<li>When traffic conditions warrant, controllers in non-approach terminals are responsible for:</li>
<li>Preplanning traffic sequencing and separation over an area, which may reach out to a radius of 5 miles or more.</li>
<li>Preplanning and setting up checkpoints required to ensure the maintenance of necessary traffic separation.</li>
<li>Maintaining a continuous mental picture and evaluation of constantly changing traffic, frequency dispersed throughout his/her area of jurisdictional responsibility.</li>
<li>Maintaining continuous radio watch with aircraft that have previously contacted the facility. </li>

MANAGING IFR TRAFFIC FOR AIRPORT:
<ol>
<li>Studies weather reports and forecasts, obtain LAWRS/SAWRS weather certification, observes weather from the tower, and records pilot reports to determine the effect of present and anticipated weather on traffic; furnishes aircraft with information such as field conditions, altimeter settings, weather conditions, operating status of navigational aids, and observed malfunctioning of aircraft; forwards to the weather bureau, AFSS, and the appropriate center/approach control, pilot weather reports and reports based upon personal observation of weather conditions; operate light guns, runway lights, field lighting, jet barriers, etc.</li>
<li>Orients pilots of aircraft lost or in difficulty; determines whether a given situation may develop into an emergency; and notifies airlines operations offices, airport management offices, and airport rescue and firefighting services.</li>
<li>Performs lower grade level duties as necessary to meet operational requirements and for proficiency maintenance.</li>
<li>Provides OJT training to others.</li>

REQUIREMENTS:

The selected candidate will be responsible for the development, integration, and execution of M&amp;S systems, providing critical support in analyzing, reviewing, and assessing key performance parameters. Key Responsibilities:

<li>M&amp;S System Management: Operate and maintain baseline Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) M&amp;S systems, focusing initially on missile warning, missile defense, Nuclear Command, Control, and Communication (NC3), and space. <li>Simulation Architecture Planning: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders during planning phases to identify and implement appropriate simulation architectures based on event requirements and objectives. Propose technical solutions and alternatives for unmet requirements.</li>
<li>Assessment and Experimentation: Support the selection, implementation, and execution of detailed computer models or alternative analysis tools for assessment, experimentation, concept development, demonstrations, prototyping, and wargames. Develop use cases, user scenarios, and concepts of operations; assist in designing simulation experiments.</li>
<li>Scenario Development: Develop specified NPES training/exercise scenarios using Hyperion (formerly XSCENE) and provide software configuration control and maintenance, including code updates. Transmit message traffic using NPES and perform M&amp;S controller/role player tasks during events.</li>

Job Overview:
The Field Service Technician for Ingersoll Rand's Compression Systems and Services Division serves customers by installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all makes of rotary screw and reciprocating and/or Centac and ECC air compressors, along with additional compressed air system components. You will use precision measuring tools for diagnostic troubleshooting of compressed air equipment. In addition, you need to have knowledge of all operations and parts manuals associated with all equipment.
Responsibilities:
In addition to performing preventative maintenance on Ingersoll Rand compressed air equipment, our service techs will interact with customers to address existing and unanticipated equipment concerns. Collaborate with Service Coordinator on ordering and gathering parts and supplies necessary to complete installations and repairs. All service technicians will assist and train apprentices and Field Service Technicians.
•Effectively communicates verbally and in writing with customers and co-workers.
•Provides technical assistance on equipment pre-commissioning and start-ups, installations, and repairs of compressed air systems. Including “hands-on” work to assure equipment operates to customer’s requirement with limited guidance from the Master Technician.

Requirements:
•2 years+ experience of troubleshooting industrial/commercial mechanical systems.
•Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to: DUI in the previous 5 years, Hit &amp; Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.
•Every service technician is required to be on-call, but you will not be on-call for the first 90 days to get used to the schedule. This is shared with every service tech, and it requires being available 24/7 for the 1-week duration where you will go to customer sites. On-call weeks can be as often as every 4 weeks or greater than 4 weeks, but that will be determined by the hiring manager.
•This position is highly physical and requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, and kneeling. It requires employees to regularly lift and or move weight limits in line with the safety policy.
•High School Diploma or equivalent required.

•Able to read wiring schematics and diagrams for all equipment.
