Job Title: Medical Secretary
Location: Reisterstown, MD
Employment Type: 2-Month Contract
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Schedule patient appointments and procedures</li>
<li>Answer high-volume phone calls with professionalism and courtesy</li>
<li>Complete insurance authorizations and verification</li>
<li>Greet and check in incoming patients</li>
<li>Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and staff</li>
<li>Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC</li>
</ul>
Required Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent</li>
<li>1–3+ years of experience in a medical office setting (Front Desk, Patient Registration, etc.)</li>
<li>EPIC experience is required</li>
<li>Strong customer service and communication skills</li>
<li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment</li>
<li>Familiarity with insurance and pre-authorization processes</li>
</ul>
Work Environment:
Busy, team-oriented medical practice with a focus on efficiency and patient satisfaction.
Additional Skills &amp; Qualifications
Must have a high school diploma
Must have at least 1-3+ years in medical office working Front Desk/Patient Registration etc.
Previous EPIC experience is a MUST
Must have great customer service skills 
Must be comfortable working in a high volume role/team
Must be familiar with insurance/pre-auth process

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
