MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Graduate of an accredited medical secretarial school or college preferred.

<li>Three years’ experience in a medical-surgical office setting required.</li>
<li>Medical terminology required.</li>
<li>Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes.</li>
<li>Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft office software, Electronic Medical Record and computerized appointment scheduling systems.</li>
<li>Be comfortable with multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment</li>
<li>Attention to detail. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.</li>
<li>Exceptional interpersonal skills. </li>
<li>Required to travel to Brown Surgical Associates satellite offices, if applicable.</li>
<li>Ability to represent the organization in a professional manner and promote a positive image of the organization and its services.</li>

<li>Ability to walk, sit, and stand for long periods of time, ability to lift to 20 pounds. </li>
