Job Summary:
 
Propane Service Technicians are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial heating systems, as well as related tanks and piping.
 
Specific Responsibilities:

<li>Installs, maintains, and repairs tanks, piping, heating equipment, and appliances at commercial and residential customer sites.</li>
<li>Communicates in a timely manner with dispatchers, maintaining a schedule and making sure any delays are properly communicated to the customer.</li>
<li>Follows a standardized format for customer repair visits:</li>
<li>Documents all installed equipment upon arrival: make, model, serial number, type of fuel, necessary test measurements, and pictures where applicable.</li>
<li>Diagnoses diverse electrical and mechanical service issues.</li>
<li>Explains the diagnosed issue in concise terms to the customer, together with the resolution.</li>
<li>Understands, and articulately conveys, company pricing and services to customers.</li>
<li>Repairs by obtaining any needed replacement parts, calibrating system to manufacturer’s recommendations, and thoroughly testing components for functionality.</li>
<li>Identifies and reports to owner potential opportunities for additional business (newer system, service contracts, and additional services).</li>
<li>Completes visit by obtaining customer signature and correct customer information, including email address.</li>
<li>Notifies dispatchers of any issues that require repair or compromise delivery or service.</li>
<li>Maintains proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.</li>
<li>Maintains company vehicle, including frequent interior and exterior cleaning, refueling, reporting any mechanical issues and ensuring that they are corrected, and submitting completed monthly vehicle inspection forms.</li>
<li>Participates in company provided training opportunities on latest industry technologies.</li>
<li>Executes other tasks assigned by the Propane Service Manager.</li>

Technical Requirements:

<li>A minimum of three years of experience in propane service (waived for trainees).</li>
<li>Some or all appropriate licensing, including: NH Gas Fitter License, preferably with Service Technician endorsement; NH Master Plumber License; MA LP Installer; MA Master Plumber License; ME Propane and Natural Gas Technician (all waived for trainees, who instead must obtain proper trainee credentials).</li>
<li>Clean MA/NH/ME driving record.</li>
<li>Understanding of blueprints, plans, and manuals.</li>
<li>Ability to pass company-provided drug test, alcohol test, and physical.</li>
<li>Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, overtime, and on call shifts.</li>

Job Description
The Experienced Helper must assist with a variety of residential and commercial plumbing repair, fixture replacement and drain cleaning. Ziegler Plumbing expects the Helper to have knowledge of basic tools, plumbing tools, and minor plumbing repairs. If the candidate is not currently a licensed journeyman or master plumber, the goal would be for this to be completed after entering the position or after obtaining enough experience.
The Experienced Helper is responsible for assisting in quality completion of each job, the safety of the customer and the Ziegler team, and overall excellent communication with the Lead Technician and Ziegler Office. The Experienced Helper will be supported by an excellent support staff to assure the job goes smoothly from a scheduling and parts ordering approach. The Experienced Helper position will participate in a wide variety of tasks each and every day depending on the service schedule. Work will be primarily in and around customer’s homes or businesses. The Experienced Helper will safely operate the service truck while on the road and on job sites, when needed. Experienced Helpers will assist in solving job site problems and anticipate needs and requirements to complete all tasks on time. Rotating on-call work schedule required (approximately 1 week per month).
Physical demands include, but are not limited to, being able to carry 75 lbs., handling large sewer cleaning machines (each van has a winch for ease of unloading and loading), and crawling under houses.
Job safety awareness at all times while on duty is imperative to assure the safety of customers, co-workers and self. Job preparation tasks include daily truck inspection, assuring all tools, equipment and material are loaded on the truck following the completion of the job, checking the job site prior to leaving thus assuring tools, equipment and unused material are returned to the shop. Employees must be at work by 6:45am each day.

JOB SUMMARY
The Building Inspector is a skilled technical position that conducts inspections on commercial and residential construction projects; compares construction to the construction plans to ensure construction projects are compliant with all of the provisions of the building, mechanical, plumbing, electrical and related codes, the specific standards of materials, workmanship and safety, and the code within the City ordinances. QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:

Special Requirements:
ICC Certification as Building, Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical or Combination Inspector or two years special training in municipal inspections is preferred. Master Electrician license and/or a Master Plumber license preferred. Qualified Maintenance and Construction is a service company that handles retail commercial facility maintenance with its home office in New Braunfels, Texas. We service New Braunfels, San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Corpus Christi, Victoria and all surrounding areas. We take pride in our work and have been named vendor of the year by several of our customers. We offer a competitive benefits and salary package along with growth opportunities.
We are currently searching for a licensed plumber in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. This individual should possess excellent organizational skills and problem solving abilities, maintenance experience, and ability to learn how to use client required apps on iPhone. Based on the nature of our business, from time to time, our plumbers might be asked to perform basic handyman work while on site if a work order encompasses more than plumbing work.
Qualified candidates must also have their own tools.
Starting pay will be determined by experience and up to $45 per hour.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
· Repairing pipe lines
· Change out toilets
· Faucet/sink installs
· Clear/auger lines
· Change out water heaters
