SUPERVISION, LEADERSHIP, AND ANALYSIS

BOOKKEEPER-ACCOUTING CLERK
We are seeking an Accounting Clerk, whose duties will be matching invoices to purchase orders/ vouchers, data entry, and assisting with Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). Major responsibilities - Assist Accounts Payable: A/P invoice matching &amp; filing, vendor invoices and disbursement filing - General accounting: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, Work with Accounts Receivable: process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipt, and - Code documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of accounting codes and expenditure codes - Rectify discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required
Requirements
<ul>
<li>Preferably accounting experience in Quickbooks software</li>
<li>Detail-oriented</li>
<li>Accurate</li>
<li>Strong analytical skills</li>
<li>Research/Forensic abilities</li>
<li>Strong Reconciliation experience and/or billing/collections experience a must</li>
<li>Working with invoices and spreadsheets.</li>
<li>Compute and record numerical data</li>
<li>Check the accuracy of business transactions</li>
<li>Perform data entry and administrative duties</li>
<li>Completes payment set up and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.</li>
<li>Reconcile vendor statement monthly</li>
<li>Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.</li>
<li>Assisting with audit support as necessary.</li>
<li>Assisting in streamlining the accounts payable process.</li>
<li>Working with account receivable clerk and others to resolve account issues when necessary.</li>
<li>Bill clients for overages and keep updated on a tracking excel worksheet</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields</li>
<li>Ability to prioritize and multitask</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills</li>
<li>Deadline and detail-oriented</li>
<li>Advanced abilities with Excel.</li>
<li>Comfortable using a computer for various tasks beyond general accounting.</li>
<li>Be well versed with the organizational and industrial accounting standards</li>
<li>Be skilled in the accounting applications and reconciliation of accounts</li>
<li>Be excellent in communication and coordination. Also in maintaining excellent working relationships with the staff, vendors, clients and other public</li>
