What You Will Do:
Field Support
As part of a regional division, this role will entail on-site support for a wide range of customers in NA region.&nbsp; ITC support in the retention of existing business and the sales process consists of strong technical support in the following areas:
Service Support
<ul>
<li>Assist with optimization and troubleshooting of Nalco Water technologies as the need arises in customer operations.&nbsp; Leading audits, investigations and continuous improvement efforts within existing customers, documenting value creation.</li>
</ul>
Target Account Development
<ul>
<li>Working with the local sales engineer to audit and assess customer operations to determine where Nalco Water chemical and digital technology can help improve operational efficiency, reduce total cost, maximize productivity, and improve finished product quality.</li>
</ul>
In-Plant Technical Trials
<ul>
<li>Help develop detailed trial plans by assessing historical operational data and determining the best approach to help meet customer KPIs.&nbsp; This includes the development of the following:
<ul>
<li>Criteria for success (linked to Discovery Agreement)</li>
<li>Real-time data acquisition</li>
<li>Establishing key performance indicators and pertinent operational data requirements</li>
<li>Plant Trial Support – work with Technical and Operations staff during plant test to advise on recommended changes/adjustments help optimize the performance of the application</li>
<li>Post-Trial Support – assist with data analysis, conclusions, and recommendations</li>

Innovation
<ul>
<li>The ITCs play an important role in the Innovation process by working closely with our Marketing team to identify and evaluate current customer needs and opportunities.&nbsp; They also work closely with the R&amp;D team throughout the technology development process, including lab testing and plant trials.&nbsp; The ITC also helps to assess the full value of the new technology as part of the commercialization process.</li>

Industry facing expert interaction

Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Seek to drive continuous improvement and enhancements of existing Pricelist management processes;</li>
<li>Communicate results for Pricelist updates and initiatives to leadership and relevant stakeholders;</li>
<li>Ensure Pricelist compliance to organizational strategy and highest revenue generation through collaboration with Marketing and organizational stakeholders;</li>
<li>Manage customer Pricelists in accordance with Marketing analysis, competition for comparable items, product obsolescence, product life cycle, and corporate strategy;</li>
<li>Aid new business opportunities by creating competitive pricelist offerings of core stocked product assortments;</li>
<li>Complete all basic and complex pricing, logos, and audit updates;</li>
<li>Participate in effective price reviews on large opportunities with cross-functional stakeholders;</li>
<li>Ensure contractual pricing is harmonized across accounts that have relationships or contractual obligations, maintaining account relationship data points in Tyndale systems;</li>
<li>Perform annual review of all pricing to ensure price enhancements are completed and meeting/exceeding margin;</li>
<li>Collaborate with Merchandising on high volume product adoption and pruning opportunities;</li>
<li>Collaborate with Merchandising, Sales and Account Management on necessary item management;</li>
<li>Account Renewals functions - create new Pricelists, update pricing, logos, items, and Pricelist audit.</li>

Qualifications

<li>HS Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.</li>
<li>Minimum of 1 year of high-level customer service experience or minimum of 1 year of Tyndale Customer Support experience required.</li>
<li>Must have proficient skills in MS Word and Excel.</li>
<li>Must have strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.</li>
<li>Effective organizational skills lending to the ability to establish priorities and monitor own workload.</li>
