Essential Functions:

<li>Participates in the development and evaluation of the plan of care in partnership with the patient, representative (if any), and caregiver(s). </li>
<li>Obtains physicians plans of treatment and orders and&nbsp;initiates their execution.</li>
<li>Counsels and educates the patient/client and family in meeting healthcare related&nbsp;needs.</li>
<li>Supervises paraprofessional and licensed professional team members.</li>

Minimum Education &amp; Experience Requirements:

<li>Review all referrals for consultation, treatment or resolution of problems are valid and applicable to the documented nurse plans</li>
<li>Evaluate and monitor resident responses to daily implementation of nursing care to ensure the provision of resident care plans are met</li>
<li>Implement physician’s orders, nursing interventions and procedures as needed for the care of the resident</li>
<li>Seeks opportunities for professional growth and expansion of responsibilities to maintain competency levels</li>
<li>Set and implement goals and policies consistent with the philosophy and purpose of FutureCare’s nursing facility</li>
</ul>
 
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Must hold an active Registered Nurse license issued in the state of Maryland </li>
<li>1 year of nursing experience preferred</li>
<li>Previous experience caring for residents in an acute or long-term health care facility a plus</li>
<li>Must possess a current CPR license</li>
</ul>
