Job Purpose:
This position is to maintain, repair and clean areas/equipment and to assist other trade mechanics in their duties to ensure a safe, and well-maintained Hotel
 
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

<li>Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the facility’s equipment.</li>
<li>Work with all trade mechanics are required to help with repairs and maintenance. </li>
<li>Change filters on all supply air fans and fan coil units requiring the ability to grasp hand tools and adjust and maintain equipment. </li>
<li>Clean and paint all mechanical spaces. Must have the visual ability to identify and match colors for painting color coded steam pipes and identifying color coded electrical wire. and the ability to perform duties in confined spaces and awkward positions. </li>
<li>Clean ceiling diffusers, return air registers and toilet exhausts. Must climb ladder or use a lift, occasionally working at heights above 30 feet. </li>
<li>Perform regular preventative maintenance on hotel guest rooms and public areas. </li>
<li>Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during service. </li>
<li>Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities </li>
<li>Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines. </li>
<li>Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. </li>
<li>Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust. </li>
<li>Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment and facilities. </li>
<li>Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions. </li>
<li>Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.</li>
<li>Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision. </li>
<li>Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.</li>
<li>Clean and wash chilled water and steam coils </li>
<li>Punch tubes and clean cooling towers </li>
<li>Receive deliveries. </li>

REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
