 Responsibilities

<li>Answering phones and assisting walk-in customers</li>
<li>Review renewal business and identify appropriate follow-up action based on degree of change</li>
<li>Cross-sell/up-sell products to existing customers</li>
<li>Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions take</li>
<li>Solicit, sell, and negotiate new business policies</li>
<li>Assist with the annual review process by contacting customers and preparing personalized customer coverage recommendations based on customers' need</li>
<li>General customer service duties as presented</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned</li>

 Requirements 
<ul>
<li>Solid background in customer service skills</li>
<li>Outstanding written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills with attention to detail</li>
<li>Outgoing personality and excellent phone etiquette</li>
<li>Insurance industry experience preferred but not required</li>
<li>Must pass the state of Minnesota insurance licensing exams (if not presently licensed)</li>
<li>Proficient in operating personal computers and performing routine calculations</li>
<li>Experience with Microsoft Office applications</li>
<li>Adhere to company and agency policies and guidelines</li>
