1. Organize and separate equipment for will call, cash on delivery, and shipment. 
2. Update the computer system with appropriate status of will call, cod, and shipped equipment. 
3. Process appropriate documentation to the accounting, purchasing, and customer service departments. 
4. Properly package all equipment, requiring shipment, for transportation to customers/vendors to ensure it arrives undamaged. 
5. Reject damaged goods or materials and correspondence with shipper to adjust damages or shortages. 
6. Participate in the assembling and shipping of outgoing merchandise or material. 
7. Print daily reports of outgoing shipments made on the FedEx and UPS systems. 
8. Receive in all materials (parts), subcontracted equipment, and customer equipment according to procedures, and distribute to the appropriate areas/employees. 
9. Initiate non-conformance documentation for damaged/incorrect materials (parts)/certification from vendor/subcontractor.
10. Maintain well-organized files and records of transfers, UPS, FedEx, and airway bills shipped daily.

This position facilitates the accurate and efficient flow of goods from the point of receipt and between all inventory sites and departments. A keen attention to detail and meticulous record keeping is essential for this role.
Duties and Responsibilities

<li>Conduct daily inventory checks and reconcile inventory discrepancies.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate inventory records and update inventory management software or systems.</li>
<li>Monitor inventory levels and request to replenish stock as necessary.</li>
<li>Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and make recommendations for disposal or clearance.</li>
<li>Coordinate with other departments to ensure the timely receipt and delivery of goods.</li>
<li>Conduct physical inventory counts and audits to ensure that inventory levels are accurate.</li>
<li>Identify and resolve any inventory-related issues or discrepancies before they become problems.</li>
<li>Ensure that inventory storage areas are clean, organized, and secure.</li>

Position Requirements
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent</li>
<li>Strong organizational and time management skills</li>
<li>Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping</li>
<li>Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team</li>
<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adapting to frequent changes</li>
<li>Proficiency in inventory management software or systems</li>
<li>Basic math skills and the ability to perform calculations using computer programs</li>
<li>Good communication skills for coordinating with other departments and vendors</li>
<li>Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as well as to stand or walk for long periods of time</li>
<li>Flexibility to work occasional overtime or weekends</li>
<li>Forklift experience is a plus </li>
<li>Prior experience in inventory management, preferred</li>
<li>This position may be asked to drive for company purposes during the course of employment. If asked and agreed upon, employees must possess a valid California Driver's License and clean driving record.</li>
<li>May participate in the identity verification process to access secure client or government portals by authorizing certified supplier or customer management platforms to obtain information from your personal credit profile or other information, solely to verify your identity.</li>

<li>Dexterity of hands, fingers, and wrist to operate a computer keyboard, calculator, or assemble/manufacture intricate items.</li>

<li>Sitting or standing for extended period of time.</li>
<li>Physical agility to lift 50 pounds to shoulder height. Any items that weigh more than 50 pounds will require to or more people or a lifting device to move.</li>
<li>Physical agility to lift, carry, push, or pull objects.</li>

Pay/Salary Information
Pay scale for this position - $24.06- $28.50 hourly
