The position is in-person with working hours from 8 AM to 5 PM. The environment is professional, requiring business attire, as you will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.

THE POSITION:
As an Administrative Assistant, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for supervision of the facility medical record service &amp; office area while performing reception duties.
<ul>
<li>Performs general receptionist/secretarial duties for patient care area.</li>
<li>Responsible for maintenance and confidentiality of medical records.</li>
<li>Maintain lab database, produce lab requisitions and secures results. Maintains current Hazmat training for proper packaging of specimens. </li>
<li>Responsible for auditing charts for all required information.</li>
<li>Assists in scheduling patient diagnostic procedures or other medical appointments, and related transportation.</li>
<li>Handles the day-to-day patient transportation phone calls and coordinates with various transportation companies for dialysis times as needed.</li>
</ul>
QUALIFICATIONS: 
<ul>
<li>Familiar with medical terminology.</li>
<li>Typing speed of 60 words per minute preferred.</li>
</ul>
