Job Summary:
The Sales Engineer is responsible for generating quotes and proposals for work that meets AM&amp;T’s core competencies. This position acts as the main point of contact between AM&amp;T and its customers. Additionally, this position will interact with all departments to assure jobs are quoted accurately and to provide reoccurring feedback to management and customers as necessary. 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

<li>Evaluate incoming request for proposals / quotes and review all associated technical information and drawings. </li>
<li>Receive and process incoming purchase orders, create appropriate documents, and transfer information to operations</li>
<li>Maintain excellent relationships with current customers, and seek to deepen and strengthen the relationships. </li>
<li>Serve as the point of contact with customers, requesting clarifying information, suggesting alternative materials and methods, updating progress, etc. </li>
<li>Take meetings with customers and give facility tours as needed. Communicate AM&amp;T’s capabilities and sell the value-added AM&amp;T provides to its customers. </li>

<li>Prepare/update sales forecasts and assist with quarterly budget updates. </li>

Inside Sales Engineer
Your Roles/Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Lead the effort to generate technical proposals, cost back-up sheets, quotation documents, budgetary estimates, cover letters and other customer requested documentation.&nbsp; Involves interacting with various departments such as Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Project Management, Purchasing, Finance, Legal and Compliance, and Management.</li>
<li>Interface with potential customers directly via phone and email to translate inbound customer requirements into winning Acutronic solutions for new systems, system refurbishments and aftermarket spares/services utilizing consultative selling skills</li>
<li>Proactively call customers to promote aftermarket services such as warranty extensions, spare parts, annual calibrations, training and field service</li>
<li>Follow-up on open opportunities to understand the order timing, budget, and likelihood</li>
<li>Regularly input customer and opportunity data in CRM</li>
<li>Responsible for generating sales reports (bookings, open quotations, sales forecast, etc.)</li>
<li>Transfer orders to Project Management by creating an Integrated Proposal Workbook that defines the project scope</li>
</ul>
Your Profile/Qualifications/Skills:
<ul>
<li>Associate’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or a related field required, Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred</li>
<li>Minimum of two years technical experience in a manufacturing environment required</li>
<li>Combination of education and experience will be considered</li>
<li>Experience with motion simulation products is a plus</li>
<li>Sales and/or marketing experience is a plus</li>

The Role
Cubic³ is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. This exciting role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with top-tier Automotive OEM customers and prospective customers.
As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for driving the technical aspects of our sales engagement, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction, and contributing to the overall growth of our business.
Responsibilities of this role:

<li>Develop and maintain strong relationships, including existing and prospective customers, our partners, and with other key stakeholders.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the sales team and any of our potential channel partners to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to win deals. Act as the bridge between the sales team and the core business (product, technology, operations, wholesale) within Cubic³, helping to understand customer requirements, demonstrate product capabilities, and address solution concerns.</li>
<li>Own the management and co-ordination of RFQ/RFI responses and proactive sales engagement outside of RFQ/RFI cycles Also ensure consolidated capitalisation and maintenance of a high quality, up-to-date RfI/Q/P response and solution positioning repository to include solution sheets &amp; supporting documentation.</li>
<li>Provide technical expertise and support during the sales process, including product demonstrations, proof of concept, and solution design. You will work with the sales team and channel partners to gather and analyse customer requirements and engage actively in discovery conversations with potential customers to understand their pain points, business challenges, and technical needs. You must confidently address technical questions, concerns, and objections, and offer solutions to overcome any challenges the customer may face.</li>
<li>Work closely with the product management, engineering, wholesale and network teams to ensure our solutions meet the unique needs of the market.</li>
<li>Feed into the solution architects to design technical solutions that address our customer and prospects needs effectively.</li>
<li>Deliver product demonstrations, presentations, and proofs-of-concept to showcase the value and capabilities of Cubic³’s offerings, ensuring that all demos of existing and new offerings along with supporting sales material is up to date.</li>
<li>You will provide valuable feedback and insight from customer interactions to help shape product roadmaps, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to the development of new features or enhancements. You will be an active influencer and advocate for directional investment and keeping the Cubic³ offering at the cutting edge of the market.</li>
<li>Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to ensure Cubic³ remains at the forefront of innovation and be a key source of this input &amp; influence into the Product Development and wider community.</li>
<li>Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to represent Cubic³ and promote our solutions. Actively produce whitepapers and market positioning content that is published as part of the Cubic³ thought leadership community.</li>

Requirements
<ul>
<li>A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in a sales engineering role in the Telecommunications, Automotive or IoT industry.</li>
<li>Fluent in English, both written and spoken.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.</li>
<li>Deep understanding of the Automotive market with a specific focus on the role of connectivity.</li>
<li>Willingness and ability to travel as needed.</li>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field is desirable but not necessary.</li>

The Sales Engineer is responsible for providing direct pricing and design support to internal and external customers on design/build and publicly bid projects using the most current pricing available. They apply knowledge of structures, materials and construction techniques to support Field Sales and Estimators related to advanced design considerations and ensuring estimate designs are being done in accordance with the high standards of the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Prepares calculations and engineering details from information received such as contract drawings, specifications, and addendums using in-house pricing programs and supplemental design programs</li>
<li>Provide accurate and easy-to-follow designs that meet code requirements and manufacturing restraints</li>
<li>Provides detailed consultation to Builders, Field Sales and Estimators regarding building codes, complex framing scenarios and non-standard geometries</li>
<li>Identifies exclusions, discrepancies, missing information and obtains clarification and qualifies the quotation based on that information</li>
<li>Evaluates customer provided information for cost effective solutions (value engineering)</li>
<li>Ensures the use of the most current pricing information when preparing the estimate</li>
<li>Builds and maintains Builder/Vendor relationships</li>
<li>Provides training to Builder Network and Field Sales on proper use of inhouse pricing tool</li>
<li>Communicates with Builders, Sales, Customer Service and Engineering regarding any clarification of scope/design intent that the Sales Engineer was involved in</li>
<li>Self performs and/or checks complex estimates</li>
<li>Continually improve productivity, accuracy and ability</li>
<li>Continually expand engineering knowledge so that a Professional Engineering License can be obtained and maintained</li>
<li>Understand the role in the overall system and be willing to step outside that role when required</li>
<li>Reports to Estimating Manager</li>
<li>This role will require performance with minimal supervision and manage his/her own projects to assure on-time completion</li>
<li>Check design work done by Estimators</li>
<li>Work related travel would typically be less than 2 times per year</li>
</ul>
Qualifications 
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum with a major field of study in structural design is required, or equivalent work experience</li>
<li>Passed Fundamentals of Engineering exam</li>
<li>Minimum of 2-years metal building design experience or related field</li>
<li>AutoCAD experience preferred</li>
<li>Ability to manage and prioritize multiple workflows simultaneously</li>
<li>Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal methods</li>
<li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications</li>
<li>Must be comfortable on the phone with customers and Field Sales</li>
<li>Exhibit competency of in-house design programs and procedures</li>
<li>PEMB knowledge in both product offerings and design considerations</li>
