KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul>
<li>Greet and interact Customers in an empathetic, courteous, and helpful manner; listening and responding promptly to Customer needs.</li>
<li>Determine if furniture requires parts replacement and whether it is repairable to good stock.</li>
<li>Repair damaged furniture to new condition in a specified timeframe, including but not limited to case goods (wood or manufactured material furniture), fabric and leather upholstery.</li>
<li>Clean stained or soiled furniture and mattresses.</li>

<li>Safe operation of hand and power hand tools, especially drills, impact drivers, and multi-tools.</li>
<li>Complete bench testing evaluations for regular validation of skills.</li>
<li>Support development and growth of other technicians.</li>
<li>Follow instructions in documentation and reporting, including standard operating procedures and activity recording.</li>
<li>Follow the planned route to ensure on-time arrival for Customer repairs.</li>
<li>Report any incomplete or problem service calls to the Customer Response Team.</li>

<li>Complete weekly vehicle maintenance and log updates as required.</li>
<li>Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle, including maintaining required repair materials and supplies.</li>
<li>Adhere to driving policy for company vehicles, including meeting annual MVR review requirements.</li>
<li>Assists shop technicians with repairs as needed when required and available.</li>

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma.</li>
<li>1-year practical work experience in furniture repair including upholstery, leather repairs and wood refinishing OR similar experience working with other materials and completing color matching.</li>
<li>Read, understand, and write in the English language; additional languages beneficial.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.</li>
<li>Ability to learn in-house computer programs.</li>
<li>Valid Driver’s License and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record per company guidelines.</li>
