SUMMARY
Under general supervision, is responsible for devoting their attention to the care and development of the people we support in one of the Agency’s residential facilities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of the Residence Program Specialist will include but are not limited to the following:

<li>Provides care and assists with personal development and independence of the people we support.</li>

<li>Provides training for the people we support in activities of daily living and in development of self-help and social skills.</li>

Primary Function 
Provide comprehensive clinical assessments and treatment services for patients with mental health and substance abuse disorders who are Eastern Band of the Cherokee Indian (EBCI) and Indian Health Services (IHS) eligible. Provide clinical screening and comprehensive clinical assessment, treatment plan development, and provision of individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based models. Employee will also provide referral/facilitation to higher levels of care, walk-in assessment, emergency, crisis intervention, and consultation and education services as needed. Serve individuals in various locations in the community as assigned. If assigned to a specific population or agency location, the employee will follow policies and procedures developed for that unit. This position will primarily serve adults but may see children and families.

<li>Provide services to EBCI and other eligible persons, including comprehensive clinical assessments, treatment planning, individual, group, and family therapy, and case management </li>

<li>Expected to obtain continuing education both through in-service training and through access to tuition payment for approved training seminars and workshops.</li>

<li>Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.</li>
<li>Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and irregularities as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.</li>
<li>Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including coordinating with local authorities and following site emergency plans.</li>

Minimum Requirements:

<li>Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.</li>
<li>Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.</li>
