The NAH Patient Relations Manager provides managerial leadership to the FMC and VVMC Patient Relations Departments. The incumbent provides strategic direction and operational oversight to the greater NAH system complaint and grievance resolution programs, as delegated by the Board of Directors.

Responsibilities
Patient Relations* Prepares facility complaint and grievance reports for the NAH Director of Consumer Experience. These reports will be integrated in to Board of Director Quality &amp; Safety Committee reports on a quarterly basis. * Maintains required Licensure and Training. Qualifications
RNs hired on or after 7/1/2016: Must graduate from a BSN program within 6 years of hire into an RN position. Existing Staff RNs: RNs hired before 7/1/2016 are not mandated to have a BSN, but are encouraged to pursue a BSN degree. Master’s Degree - Preferred

Licensed Practical Nurse Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.</li>
<li>Administers medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response.</li>
<li>Manages medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.</li>
<li>Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary.</li>
<li>Performs additional duties as required.</li>
</ul>
Registered Nurse Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Must have current MN LPN&nbsp;license.</li>
<li>CPR/ BLS certification preferred, or willing to get.</li>
<li>Must have strong communication and organizational skills.</li>
<li>Self-starter with a desire to be a part of a team.</li>

Job Summary
Plays a vital role in healthcare settings by providing both administrative and clinical support to physicians, nurses, and other medical staff. This position involves preparing patients for exams, taking vital signs, assisting during medical procedures, and handling routine office tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and processing insurance forms. Medical Assistants ensure that medical offices and clinics run efficiently while delivering high-quality patient care.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Core Duties:
•Recording and/or reporting to the appropriate nurse any treatments, results, observations, patient complaints, and other pertinent information regarding the condition of patients.
•Assisting in maintaining a clean and safe environment for the patients and staff; being responsible for equipment assigned to patient care.
•Ensuring patient safety.
•Assisting with the orientation of new personnel to the unit.
•Performing duties in an independent manner with little or no direct supervision.
•Assists Physicians with procedures and exams.
•Screen telephone calls and messages for the provider, answering questions that can be answered.
•Schedule surgeries, outpatient and diagnostic procedures, as ordered by the Physician.
•Prescription needs as authorized by Physicians
•Completing prior authorizations and referrals
•Administer injections
QualificationsEducation and Experience

<li>Must be able to read, write, understand verbal and written communication</li>
