The Department of Integrative Biology invites applications for one or more Academic Advisors. These are full-time (1.0 FTE), 12-month, professional faculty positions. The Department of Integrative Biology is part of the School of Life Sciences and receives support for its academic program from the College of Science. The Department of Integrative Biology supports two large Corvallis Campus majors, Biology and Zoology, and an Ecampus Zoology degree. The department has developed an internationally recognized graduate program in conservation, evolutionary biology and marine ecology with faculty working in these areas at the level of the cell, organism and community. The Zoology major is one of the largest Ecampus programs offered and also supports a robust on-campus cohort. Purpose: The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Santa Clara University is seeking a tenure-track assistant professor beginning fall 2024. Responsibilities Tenure track faculty at SCU are teaching scholars who are expected to balance teaching, research and service. This is an in-person position. More specifically, duties include but are not limited to:
TEACHING 1. Teach lower- and upper-division courses in the major and university core curriculum, as assigned by the chair and subdisciplinary expertise. &nbsp;SCU is on the quarter system and a typical load is two courses per quarter. POSITION OVERVIEW
SEO saw rapid and unprecedented expansion during the pandemic,prompting the need to grow and redesign our C-suite. Over the lastthree years, we have welcomed three new Executive Committee membersto oversee critical functions within the organization— SEOProfessional Programs, SEO Scholars Program, and nationaloperations. In the same period, we have also doubled theorganization's workforce and budget, expanded SEO's regionalfootprints in North Carolina and Miami, and opened a second site inOakland, CA, to accommodate our growing Scholars program in SanFrancisco.
The SEO Chief Advancement Officer is responsible for strategicdevelopment planning and activities supporting the NYC SEO Scholarsprogram and SEO general program/operating support, representing 40%of organization's $51M budget with the goal to grow support by 50%over next 3 years. A particular focus will be on nationalfoundations, corporate donors, and major individual donors. The CAOis expected to be a front-line national relationship builder andmajor donor solicitor, managing a portfolio of prospects, andsupervising an approximately nine-member development team.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) William Goodloe,the CAO will be a leader in lifting the current org-widedevelopment efforts to new levels of success by broadening ways toattract and more deeply engage with national foundations,corporations, and individual philanthropists over time – to becomestrategic sources of revenue. The CAO will also work closely withSEO’s professional programs and its Marketing &amp; Communicationsteam to utilize SEO’s legacy of impact closing opportunity gaps toincrease national brand recognition as a whole. The CAO will serveon the Executive Committee of SEO’s Executive Leadership Team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Fundraising:
<ul>
<li>Drive a strategy to raise roughly an additional $10 - 15m+ inannual revenue for SEO general program support and Scholars programsupport from a variety of philanthropic sources (annual giving,major gifts, corporate and foundation relations, alumni) andspecial events (an annual gala that consistently generates $8m+ inunrestricted funds and several smaller events focused on theScholars program and general SEO support).</li>
<li>Leverage SEO’s existing ecosystem and activate SEO’s untappednetworks within the spaces where the organization currentlyoperates, including private equity and corporate partnerorganizations.</li>
<li>In collaboration with the CEO, senior staff and Board ofDirectors, develop long-range strategies to significantly increasephilanthropic giving and serve as the key strategist for specific“asks.”</li>
<li>Build and streamline a development model that accounts formajor donor funding from various avenues, including those ofpartner and expansion offices, to ensure coordination and maximizedonor engagement.</li>
<li>Lead the positioning of SEO for further national expansion byestablishing and deepening relationships with all relevant internaland external partners/ constituents.</li>
<li>Monitor prospect portfolios for the CEO, staff, board, andexpansion offices. Serve as an advisor and collaborator to theexpansion offices.</li>
<li>Craft compelling cases for support of unrestricted funds thatmaximize relationships with current donors and cultivate andconvert new donors.</li>
<li>Serve as a front-line cultivator and solicitor. Cultivate andsteward donors; make significant requests for support from majordonors, board members, foundations, and corporations.</li>
<li>Ensure comprehensive, timely, and innovative stewardship of allgifts.</li>
<li>In collaboration with Development Team, ensure the continuedsuccess of the annual SEO awards dinner, securing sponsors andhonorees for the organization’s biggest fundraising night of theyear.</li>

The benchmarked base salary range for this position is$250,000 - $300,000.

Job Summary
The Purdue University College of Pharmacy is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Professor and Head of the Department of Pharmacy Practice. The Department is composed of dynamic faculty with diverse scholarly and engagement interests that include clinical practice, clinical sciences, public health, and social and administrative sciences.
The Department Head is responsible for implementing a multifaceted mission by direct and collaborative efforts relating to vision and leadership, program administration, personnel development, and scholarly activities that occur on the West Lafayette and Indianapolis campuses. Additionally, programmatic oversight is required for graduate programs, residency and fellowship programs, and international programs in London, Colombia, and Eldoret, Kenya. The latter of which is part of a collaboration with the Indiana University (IU) School of Medicine’s Nobel-prize nominated Academic Model Providing Access to Healthcare (AMPATH) program. The Department Head also is a member of the Dean’s Leadership Team and contributes to the teaching of Doctor of Pharmacy and graduate students.
The Department consists of 20 tenure-track faculty, 25 clinical faculty, along with many adjunct faculty and hundreds of affiliate faculty preceptors. Many practice in specialized areas such as drug information, internal medicine, ambulatory care, cardiology, infectious diseases, women’s health, and nuclear pharmacy. Research initiatives are also highly diverse, with a broad portfolio of funding from federal and state agencies, industry, and foundations.
Within the Department of Pharmacy Practice, two graduate program tracks exist: (a) Health Services Outcomes and Policy and (b) Clinical Pharmaceutical Sciences, the latter of which operates in close collaboration with the Division of Clinical Pharmacology at the Indiana University (IU) School of Medicine. The Department also offers several PGY1 and PGY2 residency programs and many fellowship programs in collaboration with pharmaceutical industry sponsors and the FDA. Additional centers and programs within the Department include Rx-SafeNet (a pharmacy practice-based research network), the oldest and largest nuclear pharmacy training program in the country, and an endowed Center for Health Equity and Innovation. Beyond the Department, long-term partnerships and collaborations exist with the Regenstrief Institute for Health Care, the Indiana University Schools of Medicine and Public Health, Eskenazi Health, IU Health, and other health systems across Indiana.
The College is seeking candidates who possess a Doctor of Pharmacy, PhD in Pharmacy, and/or other related doctoral degree and have a solid record of: (a) a vibrant and funded scholarly research program, (b) effective leadership in areas related to the practice of pharmacy, and (c) excellence in teaching. Prior administrative experience is desirable, but not required. The appointment is at the level of full professor (with tenure), and an appointment to an Endowed Professorship will be considered for highly qualified candidates.

The University of Rochester seeks an experienced, strategic, and collaborative leader to serve as its next Associate Vice President for Human Subject Protection (AVP-HSP).&nbsp; Reporting to the University’s Vice President for Research, the Associate Vice President is responsible for the staff, resources, systems, and policies that enable research involving human subjects, sustaining safety and compliance while advancing knowledge.
Key functions of the Office of Human Subject Projection (OHSP) under the AVP-HSP’s responsibility include <a href="https://www.rochester.edu/ohsp/rsrb/index.html" target="_blank">Research Subject Review Board</a> (RSRB), <a href="https://www.rochester.edu/ohsp/education/index.html" target="_blank">Research Education and Training</a>, and <a href="https://www.rochester.edu/ohsp/quality/index.html" target="_blank">Research Quality Improvement</a>. At any given time, there are more than 2,000 active research studies being conducted by approximately 3,000 investigators, across more than 100 departments, centers, and labs at the University and University of Rochester Medical Center. To meet areas of university strategic growth in global graduate education and impact, New hires will join an excellent, experienced and dynamic faculty and staff highly committed to exceptional education and student experience, the School for Professional Studies at Saint Louis University is seeking multiple, full-time faculty in the areas of information systems, cybersecurity, analytics, research methods and related disciplines.
All are open-rank, non-tenure track full-time faculty positions, with a nine-month contract running from August to May (renewed annually, with multi-year contracts possible after the first year). Candidates will teach up to seven graduate-level courses during the daytime with the bulk of the teaching occurring on campus. The Vice President for Research serves as a member of the university's executive leadership team, reporting directly to the President, and works closely with the Provost and other members of the President’s Cabinet. The Vice President for Research is responsible for leading an office to mobilize and enhance Wayne State University's research capabilities and productivity; facilitating successful competition for external funding; and successfully demonstrating WSU's expertise in knowledge generation to respond to the regional and state needs of government, business, organizations, and individuals. As the senior research officer of the university, the Vice President for Research is responsible for collaborating with relevant constituencies to develop and implement a vision, plan, and policies to guide and expand the university's research portfolio, and work with faculty to oversee critical aspects of the university's research infrastructure and operations.
Direct reports to the Vice President for Research currently include assistant/associate vice presidents, directors, staff members within the Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR). The Division of Research consists of Sponsored Programs Administration, the Office of Research Compliance, the Division of Laboratory Animal Research, and the Office of Environmental Health and Safety. Four of the university’s 29 centers and institutes also report to the Vice President for Research.

<li>Develop and implement a vision, plan and policies to guide the university's broad research portfolio in achieving the research goals of the university through regular consultation with researchers and research advisory groups across the campus. Work closely with colleges, schools and centers to advance the broad research mission of Wayne State University. Develop innovative ways to support faculty in seeking grant opportunities.</li>
<li>Develop strategies to ensure the necessary research infrastructure is available and aligned with existing research strengths and emerging research opportunities.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with all federal, state and university regulations governing research, and ensure that research is conducted according to the highest ethical standards.</li>
<li>Work closely with the Provost and research faculty and advisory groups in the schools, colleges and centers to develop, refine and implement a university-wide vision and strategic plan to strengthen the university’s research portfolio and raise its research ranking.</li>

<li>Work with the Graduate School to recruit top doctoral students.</li>

<li>Partner with TechTown, the university’s affiliated business incubator and accelerator, to encourage the growth of the entrepreneurial ecosystem both within WSU and across the region.</li>
<li>Participate on the steering committee for the Office of Business Innovation, the university’s central resource for student entrepreneurship, technology commercialization and corporate relations.</li>
<li>Serve as a member of the leadership team for the University Research Corridor, an alliance of Michigan’s three leading research institutions.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Serve as a member of the President’s Cabinet, the senior leadership team of the university, sharing common university-wide goals and accountability with other team members.</li>
<li>Develop, oversee, implement, fund and assess research initiatives as identified in and aligned with the university’s strategic plan; participate in strategic planning efforts.</li>
<li>Advise the President, Provost and Deans on research initiatives, policy and operations.</li>

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Assistant Vice President for Human Resources will serve in a strategic leadership role in Human Resources. Reporting to the Vice President for Finance, Human Resources &amp; Business Development, the Assistant Vice President of Human Resources will be responsible for leading the Office of Human Resources in planning and achieving HR goals and objectives as it relates to the Colleges strategic plan and mission. Areas of responsibility include recruitment, benefits management, training and professional development, employee relations, time and leave administration, performance management, employee recognition programs, compensation and payroll processes, and policy and program compliance.
The Assistant Vice President is directly responsible for the following:
Develop and lead the Office of Human Resources in a manner that serves as a model for professional competency teamwork, and innovation. Provides consultation to management on strategic staffing plans.
Oversee the operations and administration of all human resources services functions which includes appointments,on-boarding, orientation, benefits and time and leave administration,compensation, payroll processes, salary changes, promotions, reclassifications training and staff development, budget, and labor relations.
The AVP is responsible for the State Tax Levy and Non-Tax Levy Payroll department and oversees all aspects of the payroll process for both City and State payrolls of which Hunter is the only CUNY School with two payroll systems . This includes ensuring that compensation is correct and payments are initiated on time
Direct the performance evaluation process for administrative staff, and consult with administrative managers and faculty who need assistance documenting performance issues
Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws that affect the college, including compliance for mandatory training programs
Working collaboratively with the College Affirmative Action Officer to ensure that the university's affirmative action policies and protocols, especially in matters of faculty and staff recruitment, are administered and utilized effectively
Plan and implement professional development and employee relations programs that help the college improve services level outcomes and increase employee engagement
Support the College’s goal to build human potential, deploy resources in pursuit of maximum competitive advantage, and sensibly and ethically use the College's resources for optimal talent management
Provide counsel to and work collaboratively with senior executives, administrators and chairpersons on a broad range of issues including labor relations and employment law, human resource policies and practices, and the development of college policy and protocols
Oversee the successful implementation of college policies, procedures and practices pertaining to personnel and payroll matters
Collaborate with technical team to design, integrate and implement human resource software systems for better efficiency.
Direct the continued upgrade of the Adjunct Employee Management System (AEMS) and is accountable for onboarding two thousand adjuncts a semester through the appointment or reappointment process and the data driven decision-making processes. Works with the Academic areas at Hunter to provide updated and timely information related to adjunct data. This data sharing facilitates a collaborative effort to ensure that adjuncts are paid on schedule.
Direct the preparation of and represent the College in Civil Service staff disciplinary actions and grievances and enforce policies, rules and regulations, and contractual agreements related to classified staff
Partner with the CUNY Institute for State and Local Governance (ISLG) to examine and implement administrative process improvements in the School of Arts and Sciences. This strategic collaboration facilitated a new set of best practices, which will continue to be rolled out in the future.
Represent the College in matters pertaining to Human Resources on the University level and above and collaborate effectively with other CUNY-wide Human Resources officials and Confers with College and University Stakeholders to create workforce management plans addressing issues such as succession, recruitment sources, and employee career development.
Serves as a valuable resource at the Central Office, as well as on campus. Participate in small focus groups and works closely with the OHRM team tasked with changing the culture at CUNY. Leveraged her experience and expertise to review and revise existing policies and procedures so that they add value to the workflow. Continue to nurture the relationship with the Central Office. Recommend new and improved measures for performance evaluations.
Serve as a member of the Senior Cabinet
Serve on various university and college committees: HEO Screening, Workplace Violence etc.
