The Impact You Will Make
The Westminster Policy Administrator (WPA) is responsible for the overall administrative duties of processing specific customer contracts at the Forest Hill locations in Memphis, Tennessee. The WPA will act as the arranging counselor for all policy holders and will partner with a Sales Counselor at the location for aftercare, referrals and other assigned tasks by the Sales Manager. 
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Provide at-need clients with immediate service, providing a consoling atmosphere that enables the clients to make decisions regarding recently deceased family members.</li>
<li>Provide options and associated costs, including advising clients on financing options such as co-signing of insurance and information on obtaining financing. Ensures that all financing is taken care of prior to internment.</li>
<li>Provide clients with site overview, including tours around the property, identifying the location of existing or potential family plots.</li>
<li>Obtain all associated authorizations required for the process to be completed, including those needed to open plot.</li>
<li>Provide information to clients regarding Next-of-Kin Family Folder; including listing and directions regarding Social Security Benefits claim forms and death benefits. </li>
<li>Provide other services including ushering families to site on the day of the funeral.</li>
<li>Regularly contact all family members and others associated with the funeral to offer help and services, including special opportunities for cost savings (discount certificates).</li>
<li>Responsible for daily management of CRM as it relates to the fulfillment of the Westminster Policy purchases. </li>
<li>Complete all the required paperwork. Processes and authorizations required to finalize a sale and deliver the service/product from start to finish. </li>
<li>Participate in all relevant sales and funeral meetings, communicating effectively with local management and team members regarding activity, progress, and results. </li>

<li>Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida to practice Professional Nursing,</li>

<li>Instruction shall be provided in the areas of class work and practical application of skills necessary for safe practice utilizing the current approved Florida curriculum framework and performance standards and the standards and guidelines of the State of Florida.&nbsp;</li>

Your Role as a Mental Health Counselor

About Delaware Guidance Services
Delaware Guidance Services for Children and Youth, Inc. (DGS) is the largest provider of outpatient behavioral health services to children and families in Delaware. We operate offices in Wilmington, Newark, Dover, Lewes, and Seaford, and we are the only statewide not-for-profit outpatient behavioral health organization for children and adolescents accredited by JCAHO. In 2020, we were honored as a Compassionate Champion for our dedication to serving youth and families using a trauma-informed approach. 
Through DGS, clients and families have access to outpatient counseling, group therapy, parent-child interaction therapy, and school-based services. Our community-based service lines serve youth and families who require a more intense therapeutic protocol. DGS’ 24-hour statewide Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS) dispatches skilled crisis intervention clinicians to provide immediate care to children experiencing behavioral health crises. Therapeutic options are available for a wide range of diagnoses including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, eating disorders, traumatic stress-related disorders, and suicidal ideation. In 2021, DGS clinicians provided over 54,000 direct care hours to children, youth, and families in Delaware. Over 93% of clients report improvement in their level of functioning following treatment, and therapeutic benefits derived from trauma-informed care extend to clients’ siblings, caregivers, classmates, and peers. 
Our client population is racially and ethnically diverse; 80% of DGS clients are Medicaid recipients and 90% have household incomes under $30,000. Many of our clients present with significant treatment challenges including learning impacts due to missed school and negative economic impact due to parental missed work. We provide care to anyone in need, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay for care. DGS also provides services specifically tailored to meet the unique behavioral health care needs of child welfare-involved families and foster youth

The Advanced Clinical Training Program (ACTP) Clinician is a Graduate level (Master’s level) clinician responsible for providing clinical behavioral health services to children and families. Clinicians in this program further develop therapeutic skills, build core clinical competencies, and have the opportunity to practice these skills and competencies in a family-based child guidance setting. Clinicians provide therapeutic services under the direct supervision of a licensed clinician while earning their required hours toward licensure.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
The Residential Counselor provides direct, overnight support to Transitional Aged Youth (TAY) residing in Hope Solutions transitional housing program. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe, calm, and structured environment during evening and overnight hours (depending on the shift), ensuring the well-being of youth ages 1824 as they work toward housing stability and personal development.
Residential Counselors play a critical role in reinforcing expectations, monitoring safety, and providing supportive engagement when needed. This includes conducting routine safety checks, responding to crises or resident needs, reporting facility/maintenance needs immediately, and documenting overnight activity. The role also includes assisting youth with evening routines and modeling respectful, trauma-informed communication.
Working as part of a collaborative shelter team, the Residential Counselor contributes to an environment that centers youth voice, autonomy, and belonging. All services are delivered through a strength-based, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed lens that reflects Hope Solutions core values.

WHAT WILL YOU DO: 
 
Consumer Support:
<ul>
<li>Create a welcoming, safe, and structured environment for Transitional Aged Youth (TAY) by modeling trauma-informed, strength-based, and culturally responsive practices.</li>
<li>Build trusting relationships with youth through active listening, consistent presence, and respectful communication that affirms their identity and lived experience.</li>
<li>Support daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene routines, room cleanliness, and overall upkeep of the shelter, while encouraging resident accountability and self-sufficiency.</li>
<li>Reinforce individualized service plans developed by Case Managers by providing day-to-day encouragement, coaching, and reminders aligned with youth goals.</li>
<li>Monitor and de-escalate behavioral challenges or interpersonal conflict using nonviolent crisis intervention techniques and collaborative problem-solving strategies.</li>
<li>Assist youth with developing life skills including time management, conflict resolution, financial literacy, and basic job readiness.</li>
<li>Conduct regular rounds and safety checks to ensure the physical and emotional safety of all residents, reporting any incidents or concerns in a timely and accurate manner.</li>
<li>Provide documentation of daily observations, participant interactions, incidents, and service coordination in accordance with agency and program policies.</li>
<li>Support youth in navigating community resources by offering guidance or accompanying them to appointments when needed and appropriate.</li>
