JOB SUMMARY This position begins at the start of the Summer 2025 Alaska Season. The Head Pastry Chef reports to the Executive Chefs. Responsible for overseeing quality of pastry products as well as inspecting all supplies, equipment and work areas to ensure company standards. Creates and develops unique food offerings that provide our guests with a variety of selections of top quality cuisine that represent SUSHISAMBA.&nbsp;

Your Requirements:
- Responsible for frequently communicating the status of all pastry production to the Executive Chef for SUSHISAMBA - Ensure the proper execution of all recipes and menu items - Create or implement seasonal menu changes, in conjunction with Executive Chefs - Train and educate front of house staff in shift meetings - Maintain exceptional quality of food adhering to standards of excellence - Identify and define business needs and implement solutions which may result in beneficial changes in assigned operations, improvement in the operations impact or interaction with customers, improvement in the operations ability to reduce or contain costs or generate additional revenue
As a Head Pastry Chef we would love you to have: - Previous experience working as a Head Pastry Chef or higher - At least 5 years of Pastry experience&nbsp; - Experience working with a similar cuisine - Great English language communication skills with a willingness to learn - Ability to maintain and follow recipes, processes and standards - Drive and ambition with a desire to learn and grow within the team - Flexible availability, working any 5 days a week between Monday – Sunday - Full ownership in your role
