The available positions are for Construction Materials Testing Technicians. If you have one (1) or more years’ experience in this field or in construction, that is a plus. We offer ongoing training and certification in the industry for motivated personnel. JOB SUMMARY &amp; PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 
The Manufacturing / Production Scheduler serves as the scheduler/planner for our rotating machinery manufacturing repair facilities. This position is responsible for scheduling production, learning our ERP system and being a contributing member to process improvement activities. They use their knowledge of the production process and associated tools to maintain accurate production schedules. This position schedules material and labor (Mechanic, Machining, etc.) to ensure the on-time completion of each project and as unforeseen issues arise multi-tasks and adjusts to shift key resources. 
The below list of activities is not all inclusive but a general representation of the requirements of an RMS Inc. Manufacturing Production Scheduler. This list is subject to change based on the needs of the company.
<ul>
<li>Schedule rotating machinery inspections, disassembly, machining, balancing, assembly, and preparation for shipment to meet internal &amp; external customer needs.</li>
<li>Plans and coordinates production workflow by analyzing work instructions.</li>
<li>Responsible for overall production planning, capacity planning, scheduling, prioritization, and tracking/monitoring of production activities. Provides the shop with proper capacity planning to ensure feasible and achievable production schedules.</li>
<li>Maintains ERP system parameters and processes, generates and releases work orders, reschedules based on priorities, maintains area capacity plans and/or provides production forecasts as necessary.</li>
<li>Create templates in the ERP system. </li>
<li>Supports new processes. </li>
<li>Responsible for reporting and communication regarding capacity requirements, backlog status, production tracking, order priorities, material requirements, shop floor reporting, key performance indicators, or other required reporting.</li>
<li>Attend Job Planning meetings to review capacity and planning issues for new jobs.</li>
<li>Communicate the daily and weekly production scheduling during cross-functional production meetings.</li>
<li>Analyze production specifications and plant capacity data to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and staffing requirements.</li>
<li>Plan and schedule shop workflow for each department and operation, according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.</li>
<li>Runs daily production reports to review open work orders, monitors backlog, identifies shortages and/or production issues.</li>
<li>Understands the lead-time of raw materials and order of operations to support production schedule.</li>
</ul>
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS 
Knowledge and/or Skill Requirements:

OTHER INFORMATION

PURPOSE OF POSITION:
This position is responsible for directly commissioning, troubleshooting and performing maintenance on IEM as well as non-IEM products. This position is based out of a location where IEM does not have a service office or production facility and requires a level of experience and independence working at customer sites performing field service on power products.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
<ul>
<li>Provide product/field service expertise, with the ability to service and support complex power and control systems.</li>
<li>Travel to customer sites to complete commissioning activities independently, or to lead a team when additional resources are required to meet a timeline.</li>
<li>As required, travel to manufacturing or field service offices of IEM to participate in or lead training exercises, or to participate in factory witness/shop testing.</li>
<li>Attend site meetings and walk-throughs.</li>
<li>Identifies project areas of risk that may adversely affect success of the project or that may pose safety risks for themselves or other technicians working onsite.</li>
<li>Assists with project start-up and resolving punch list items found at the job. Works with IEM Project Managers to update punch lists and ensure jobs are closed out.</li>
<li>Reports back issues to manufacturing facilities regarding whether quality control standards are upheld to project design criteria and product specifications. Works with production and engineering teams to help resolve any deficiencies that are found.</li>
<li>Work with the Field Service Lead in scheduling additional field resources and/or teams to cover service needs.</li>
<li>For individual projects and when directed by Field Service Management, serve a lead role for an individual site or client. This may include supervising, mentoring, and guiding junior engineers or techs through commissioning on large projects.</li>
<li>Punch in and Punch out of timekeeping system daily and per company protocol. Complete field service reports and expense reports promptly.</li>
<li>Performs other duties as required by supervisor.</li>
</ul>
SUPERVISION OF PERSONNEL:

<li>Only when leading a site that requires additional commissioning resources, directing work of junior techs or manufacturing team members.</li>
