Zepf Center has been serving the Lucas County community for over 50 years. We are the leading provider of behavioral health and substance use disorder services in Northwest Ohio. Services include adult and child psychiatric, substance abuse, case management, residential, Crisis Care, and therapy programs, as well as career development and wellness services. Zepf Center also offers primary care medical services to our patients to contribute to their continuum of care. Zepf Center is a trauma-informed agency and environment for both patients and staff.
 
We are currently seeking a full-time Mental Health Technician to try to stabilize the person and get him or her back into the community quickly. CSU stands for Crisis Stabilization Unit. Crisis Stabilization Units (CSU) are small inpatient facilities of less than 16 beds for people in a mental health crisis whose needs cannot be met safely in residential service settings. CSUs may be designed to admit on a voluntary or involuntary basis when the person needs a safe, secure environment less restrictive than a hospital. CSUs try to stabilize the person and get them back into the community quickly. This position will be for a CSU for individuals 18 years of age or older.
 
Hours: Three, 12-hour shifts; 8:00AM-8:00PM with every 3rd weekend, rotating holidays
 
Essential Duties of this position include but are not limited to:
<ul>
<li>In collaboration with the Mental Health Professional/Health Officer, gathers collateral data at the scene and over the phone to help resolve crisis within the community.</li>
<li>Provides outreach service including crisis intervention;</li>
<li>Accompanies clinician health officers in pre-hospital screening with clients in the community.</li>
<li>Works with patient’s primary psychiatrist/provider, case manager and/or counselor.</li>

<li>Provides one-on-one assistance to clients and significant others or families, monitors behavior and mental status of clients at the crisis scene, and documents appropriate services in client charts.</li>
<li>Answers the Hotline, gathers collateral information and provides information and referrals to community services.</li>
<li>Run the intake board and coordinate outreach runs between emergency services, outreach, CACSU, CSU and Helpline</li>
<li>Transports clients to and from community sites as needed.</li>

<li>Attends agency and unit meetings, completes reports (e.g. contact sheets, shift reports, crisis alerts, etc.), and performing all necessary chart and telephone documentation in EHR in a timely manner.</li>

About the&nbsp;Genitourinary Reconstruction Urologist Position
The Department of Surgery and Perioperative Care at The University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School in conjunction with the Dell Seton Medical Center at the University of Texas are recruiting a Urologist with fellowship training in Genito-Urinary Reconstruction to join our team as an Assistant, Associate or full Professor. We seek individuals with excellent clinical skills, a passion for education, potential for scholarly contributions, and commitment to excellence.
The faculty member will be an integral part of the rapidly expanding urology practice. The current urologic service at Dell Medical School is composed of a specialist in minimally invasive surgery / endourology and two urologist oncologists. A urologist specializing in genitourinary reconstruction who had developed a large referral practice recently left the organization. There is an opportunity to maintain and build further this genitourinary reconstruction practice.&nbsp; The individual should have interest in continuing to evolve and expand an ambitious urology practice that is the primary practice for un-insured and under-insured patients in Travis County, but also cares for patients referred from other urologists locally and regionally.&nbsp; Of note, Dell Seton Medical Center at the University of Texas, where the surgical practice is primarily located, is home to plastic surgeons, colorectal surgeons and gynecologists who often collaborate in care of patients with genitourinary reconstruction needs.

JOB DEFINITION:
As a member of a multi-disciplinary team providing crisis intervention services at a residential treatment facility, Behavioral Health Case Managers assist in creating and implementing client centered, detailed disposition plans; facilitate group and individual counseling; work with other clinical staff to ensure services are fully integrated with mental health, chemical dependency, and primary care; develop and maintain a comprehensive list of community resources; provide transportation for clients as necessary; participate in staff meetings and trainings; and maintain a safe and clean environment.

Bruce House is a short-term stay for youth between the ages of 12-17. Youth are placed in our care for various reasons. Bruce House is open 24/7 365 days a year and operates a 24-hour Crisis Hotline. Our focus is on understanding our residents through a trauma-informed lens and approach. During their stay, youth are encouraged to participate in various life skill groups and family counseling sessions as the goal of the program is family reunification and stabilized placements. Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Youth Engagement Specialist (YES) is responsible for the coordination of the daily activities of the Bruce House. The YES creates a safe and caring environment for high-risk youth in the residence that are in crisis. The position requires an individual who can actively contribute to a positive, stable, and responsive environment for youth. The YES is responsible for monitoring the safety and conduct of house residents, engaging in positive interactions with youth and other staff and providing clinical and crisis intervention as needed.
