Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our growing private obstetrics and gynecology practice. The CNM will provide full-scope midwifery care including prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecological services, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and high-quality care for women across the lifespan.
Key Responsibilities:

<li>Conduct comprehensive prenatal visits and provide education and counseling to expectant mothers and families.</li>
<li>Provide labor and delivery care, including attendance at vaginal births and support for natural and low-intervention birth experiences.</li>
<li>Manage postpartum care, including lactation support and follow-up assessments.</li>
<li>Perform routine gynecologic exams, family planning counseling, contraceptive management, and menopause care.</li>
<li>Order and interpret diagnostic tests, lab work, and ultrasounds within scope of practice.</li>
<li>Maintain thorough documentation in electronic medical records (EMR).</li>

Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Master’s Degree in Nurse-Midwifery from an accredited program.</li>
<li>Current and unrestricted RN license.</li>
<li>National certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB).</li>
<li>Current BLS and NRP certification (or ability to obtain).</li>
<li>Minimum of [1–2] years of midwifery experience preferred; new graduates considered based on fit.</li>
<li>Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.</li>

The Certified Nurse Midwife will join Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialists of Central Florid&nbsp;Clinic located in Orlando, Florida.&nbsp;&nbsp;We are an established team of two&nbsp;OB/GYN physicians, three&nbsp;APPs, and a well-trained experienced support staff.
We care for the entire woman, from puberty through menopause. The CNM will maintain their own panel of patients and work collaboratively with other providers to meet patient care follow-up needs. Primarily working in clinic, the CNM will also round with patients in-hospital and support deliveries. Dependent on experience and level of interest, the CNM may also participate in surgical procedures.
