Assistant Professor/Faculty Fellow, Department of Spanish and Portuguese

Description The University of Washington Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology is seeking one (1) full-time pathologist for appointment to join our Hematopathology Division on the School of Medicine’s clinician-teacher pathway. Clinical responsibilities will include reporting of morphology for lymph nodes, tissues, bloods and marrows, as well as flow cytometry (diagnostic and minimal residual disease testing) and may include molecular diagnostic testing, hemoglobin electrophoresis and coagulation reporting, depending on the interests of the candidate. The Department of Sociology is located on the Seattle campus of the University of Washington. Washington State Law requires that this ad list a binding salary range.&nbsp;The base salary range for this position will be $9650 - $13500&nbsp;per month on a 9-month basis ($86,850 - $121,500 annually), commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination.&nbsp;
The position will begin on September 16, 2024, and is full time with a 9-month service period.
Qualifications
Applicants must have a Ph.D., or foreign equivalent, in sociology or closely related field by the start of the appointment.
