<li>You’re looking for a place to start your career after you recently graduated with your BS in Accounting and a 3.0 (or higher!) GPA. Since this is an entry-level position with an established (and extensive) training program, the Entry Level Staff Accountant role is an ideal opportunity to progress from coursework to a real-world accounting environment with the support of top Directors.</li>
<li>You’re known for taking initiative and looking for new opportunities, and you love working with clients. This position is the first step on a path that will lead you to positions with increasing responsibility and involvement with numerous clients, all of whom will grow to rely on you for their businesses’ financial stability and growth.</li>

What You Will Do
<ul>
<li>You will be relied on (internally and by your clients) to prepare: financial statements; general ledger entries; and payments by accruing expenses, assigning account numbers, requesting disbursements, and reconciling accounts.</li>
<li>You will analyze information and options by developing spreadsheet reports, which you can then verify for accuracy. Further, you can develop and implement new accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes that benefit our clients.</li>
<li>You will develop professionally by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.</li>

Entry Level Staff Accountant (Associate)

Job DescriptionWe are looking for a meticulous and efficient Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Von Ormy, Texas. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in managing financial transactions, ensuring the accuracy of invoices, and maintaining positive relationships with vendors. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment. Responsibilities: • Process and verify invoices by cross-checking them with purchase orders and receipts for accuracy. • Accurately input invoice details into accounting systems to ensure timely and precise transaction postings. • Schedule and prepare payments for approved invoices while adhering to company policies and deadlines. • Communicate with vendors to address payment inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and maintain strong relationships. • Perform account reconciliations to ensure financial records are accurate and up-to-date. • Assist with month-end and year-end closing tasks, including reconciling accounts payable ledgers. • Support the implementation and use of QuickBooks Online for efficient financial management. • Contribute to maintaining compliance with accounting standards and company policies. • Handle expense reporting and ensure proper coding of invoices for accurate documentation.• High school diploma required; additional education in accounting or finance is a plus. • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable or similar financial roles. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with QuickBooks Online is highly desirable. • Strong understanding of 3-way matching and general ledger accounts. • Exceptional mathematical skills and attention to detail. • Effective written and verbal communication abilities. • Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently. • General knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
