Job Summary
Performs transactional duties to serve members by receiving or paying out funds with a high degree of accuracy. Maintains accurate transactional records, providing basic cash receipt and payment services in accordance with Credit Union policies and procedures.
General Accountabilities
SCFCU expects regular attendance and punctuality. This means being in the workplace, ready to work, at your scheduled start time each day and completing your entire shift. Employees are also expected to return from scheduled meal and break periods on time.
Greets and welcomes members to the Credit Union in a courteous, professional and timely manner, providing prompt, accurate, and efficient member transactions.
Receives share drafts/checks and cash for deposit to accounts, verify amounts, examine share drafts/checks for proper endorsement, and enter deposits into computer records. Use DAMP test with checks.
Processes cash share drafts/checks and withdrawals; pays out money after verification of signatures and member balances.
Assists with mail or email transactions, when available.
Maintains an up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge on all Credit Union products and services that are handled or promoted by tellers.

Who We're Looking For
We're looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Teller to join our Hartland team! As a Teller, you'll help be the face of LOC Credit Union, providing excellent service while helping members with their financial transactions while also supervising the teller line. You'll play a key role in building strong relationships and ensuring our members have a positive experience.
A Day in the life of a Teller
<ul>
<li>Provide exceptional and friendly service to every member</li>
<li>Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments</li>
<li>Answer members questions and resolve any issues with a positive attitude</li>
<li>Be willing to work at least one Saturday per month and travel to other branches occasionally</li>
</ul>
Experience/education
<ul>
<li>Prior credit union or bank cash handling experience (required)</li>
<li>GED or high school diploma (required)</li>
</ul>
