<li>Collaborate with the managerial team that all staff are medically trained to meet the individual's needs by monitoring, training and evaluating all med-certified staff as per Job Path and OPWDD guidelines. This includes health/hygiene, infectious disease control/prevention, monitoring medical systems, and other related topics for staff development.</li>
<li>Oversee medication pourings for staff to receive AMAP certification, then conduct an annual review to maintain staff certifications</li>
<li>Participate in staff meetings as needed</li>
</ul>
During emergencies:
<ul>
<li>Provide 24-hour telephone triage on-call services. Responds to emergencies by assessing situations and directing interventions.</li>
<li>Identify, assess and report circumstances occurring at the time a person experiences a seizure, injury, illness, behavioral episode, and/or any other medical or emotional difficulty an individual may have and implements therapeutic interventions accordingly.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
Reports to: Senior Director of Supported Living, with day to day coordination with the Coordinator, Manager, or Director of Supported Living. Qualifications:&nbsp;
<ul>
<li>Bachelor of Science in Nursing</li>
<li>Licensure as a Registered Nurse in NYS</li>
<li>Meeting all education, testing and experiential requirements identified by the NYS Office of the Professions</li>
<li>Experience working with people with developmental disabilities a plus</li>
<li>Working knowledge of Google Workspace</li>

The State Registered Nursing Aide (SRNA) complements the nursing staff in the total quality client/family coordination of care in a multidisciplinary method. The SRNA provides direct client care that includes the holistic approach to the care of the child and family, including educational, psychosocial, behavioral, physical, mental, and emotional care and needs of the child. The SRNA is responsible for providing personal care and fostering independence as indicated and caring for the child’s immediate environment.

Qualifications

<li>Current SRNA registration in the state of Kentucky is required.</li>
<li>A minimum of six months of current experience as a practicing CNA is preferred.</li>
<li>Pediatric experience preferred.</li>
<li>Current negative Tuberculosis test (PPD) required.</li>
<li>Current CPR (Basic Life Support) is required.</li>
