The College of Science is seeking a Program Coordinator. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE), 12-month, professional faculty position. The Research Development Unit (RDU) within the College of Science is focused on accelerating research growth by leveraging college resources to encourage faculty to address grand societal research challenges and target funding opportunities to increase the size and number of competitive research grants in alignment with the Oregon State University’s <a href="https://leadership.oregonstate.edu/strategic-plan" target="_blank">Strategic Plan SP4.0</a>, the college’s diversity action plan, <a href="https://science.oregonstate.edu/diversity-plan" target="_blank">Embedding Equity, Access and Inclusion</a>, and the College of Science’s <a href="https://science.oregonstate.edu/our-college/strategic-plan-2015-to-2020" target="_blank">Strategic Plan.</a> The RDU designs and implements services, using an equity, access and inclusion (EAI) lens to help faculty, staff and student investigators succeed in obtaining and maintaining intramural funding within Oregon State University (OSU), and extramural funding from federal agencies and foundation grants. &nbsp; The Program Coordinator is a member of the Research Development Unit working on complex projects, collaborating with faculty, staff, and researchers across the college and university. The Coordinator will report to the Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies (Associate Dean) and collaborate with the Associate Dean and Director of Research Development (Director) to manage, administer and grow the programs within the Unit. The Coordinator will collaborate on activities across the unit and provide strategic input in several areas to increase the success of our research enterprise. Responsibilities include providing leadership and oversight within the Research Development Unit to manage projects, track and report research activities, develop and maintain databases of college proposal submissions and awards, provide data analysis and prepare quarterly reports of proposal submission and award progress in collaboration with the Associate Dean and Director. The Coordinator will collaboratively and independently design and implement workshops and other events and projects to support and enhance our research enterprise and portfolio. The Coordinator will work collaboratively with the Associate Dean and Director to develop metrics, including EAI metrics to assess our research, innovation seed-funding and outreach activities. Serves as backup to the proposal support staff and provides mentorship and guidance as needed. This includes assisting faculty with proposal preparation and submission from inception to submission. The Associate Dean will play a crucial role in leadership for the College of Education and Professional Studies (CEPS) in the years ahead. The Role:
The Associate Dean is a leadership partner to the Dean. Primary responsibilities include supervision, coordination and leadership for all curricular issues, general education, and graduate education; implementation of College of Education and Professional Studies (CEPS) courses, programs and strategic priorities; and policy coordination. The Associate Dean also serves on a variety of college and university committees and acts in the Dean's absence.&nbsp;

Minimum Qualifications Earned doctorate from an accredited institution in a discipline associated with programs represented in the College of Education and Professional Studies. A record of teaching effectiveness, professional leadership, and scholarship sufficient to support tenure in one of the CEPS’s academic departments. Demonstrated successful departmental or college-level administrative, leadership, and budget experience in an institution of higher education. Deep theoretical and practical knowledge of inclusion and equity issues within a residential liberal arts environment Collaborative and forward-thinking leadership style with the ability to cultivate and maintain strategic internal and external partnerships to benefit the success of students, colleagues, and initiatives. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated expertise in analysis, interpretation, and presentation of data. Records and maintains client information such as personal data in databases and files.

What you will do in this role:
The Manager of Outpatient Services is responsible for the oversight of all clinical treatment programs of patients receiving treatment for psychiatric, and substance use issues in the outpatient setting. The Manager assures that high quality clinical care is provided and that clinical functions are integrated. Manager supervises family and group counseling and develops, implements, and supervises a variety of therapeutic treatment modalities/processes. Oversees discharge planning to ensure an optimal post IOP / PHP transition. Responsible for ensuring that clinical documentation is current and accurate and meets all regulatory and other standards.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for ensuring that company approved programs are implemented and being provided consistently.
Provides oversight to the therapists and provides feedback through the performance evaluation process, supervision, and training and, if necessary, through counseling.
Ensures that all interventions (individual, group, and family therapy) are performed and documented according to professional clinical standards.
Conducts regular audits on patient charts to ensure compliance with Lifepoint and regulatory agency requirements.
Actively participates in survey activities (TJC, Medicare, and licensing).
Ensures the timely completion of all required reporting needs, including but not limited to: weekly reports, monthly PI and financial audits, required engagement and action plans, and quarterly board reports.
Attends treatment team meetings on a regular basis.
Reviews with the nurse to make sure all patients are seen by MD in a timely manner, if necessary or if required by licensure/CoP.
Ensures that clarification of the therapeutic role and treatment plan with the patient and family is completed and reviewed by each therapist.
Actively participates in the complaint resolution process as needed.
Oversees therapists to make sure the Basis 32 and Patient Satisfaction Surveys or equivalent programs are completed as required by policy.
If applicable, Program Manager, along with the Outpatient Coordinator will review any transportation issues on a daily basis.

Qualifications: Qualifications:
Master's Degree from an accredited school of social work or is qualified by education and experience in the social services needs of patients with psychiatric and substance use issues.
Current unencumbered Clinical Social Work or Counseling License
CPR Certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) or Handle with Care (HWC) within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.
And any additional state-specific state license requirements.
Previous experience in outpatient healthcare is required.
Knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles is required.
