General Description of Position:
The Supervisor, OSP Permitting is a critical leadership role that oversees the daily requirements to obtaining necessary encroachment and construction permits for various telecom and utility projects. This key role will work with various clients, clients' engineering vendors, and internal teams to ensure the timely submittal and acquisition of permits. This role will work with all required local, state, and federal jurisdictions to resolve any conflicts and will track multiple, concurrent permit submittals. Must have proven track record and experience working with telecom engineering and construction management to get the permits completed and delivered on time.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:

<li>Supervises permitting team, including interviewing, selection, and conducting employee performance reviews</li>
<li>Perform quality assurance on OSP Engineering packages created by other OSP designers</li>
<li>Review OSP design packages for accuracy, adherence to state and local guidelines, and customer design requirements</li>
<li>Document and communicate QC related items with management and designers.</li>
<li>Maintain project drawing files, drawing library, and associated records and documentation per company policies</li>
<li>Verify the finalized deliverable package to the customer and verify all supporting documentation has been prepared properly</li>
<li>Verify that scope of work was followed</li>
<li>Verify that all existing underground and aerial facilities are correctly located per customer records, city records, and field conditions</li>

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Work with the Production Manager to ensure ordered materials are correct</li>
<li>Create an open line of communication with customers throughout the project</li>
<li>Conduct hourly inspections of work quality from subcontractors/crew leaders</li>
<li>Make or delegate corrections to work quality</li>
<li>Manage material needs and returns with documentation</li>
<li>Communicate with the office team on the progression of the job</li>
<li>Delegate trailer delivery and pick-up for each job</li>
<li>Perform final walk-arounds and inspections on every job</li>
<li>Collect final payments and complete job folders for every job</li>
</ul>
Preferred Experience
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent experience in roofing and/or light construction</li>
<li>Valid driver’s license required; chauffeur’s license preferred</li>
<li>Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers</li>
<li>Must be able to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions</li>
<li>Must be able to climb onto and walk on multiple roofing pitches</li>
<li>Must be able to lift, pull, and push 75+ pounds</li>
<li>Ability to perform basic math and problem-solving techniques</li>
</ul>
Schedule
<ul>
<li>8-hour shift</li>
<li>Monday to Friday</li>
<li>Weekends as needed</li>

YOUR SCHEDULE
This full-time management role works Monday - Friday while working weekends as needed.
 
YOUR DAY
While working in this Construction Supervisor role at Ironworks Welding Inc., you skillfully manage multiple oil and gas projects. You coordinate and lead a team, plan tasks, and ensure efficient project completion. Additionally, you maintain schedules and budgets while handling communication with clients and subcontractors. Your role includes answering service requests, calculating materials, and overseeing subordinate employees. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and showcase leadership skills in construction. REQUIREMENTS
<ul>
<li>Driver's license</li>
<li>Class A CDL (Preferred)</li>
<li>Strong familiarity with tank battery construction</li>
<li>Proficient with computers</li>
<li>Exemplary leadership skills with the ability to inspire team members</li>
<li>Great verbal and written communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to work in safety glasses, steel toe boots, and ear plugs</li>
<li>Flexible schedule</li>
</ul>
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
<ul>
<li>Capable of lifting 50 pounds regularly from floor height</li>
<li>Able to lift 75 or more pounds overhead and occasionally</li>
<li>Comfortable with exposure to loud noise, vibrations, and bright lights, where moving parts, and rotating equipment are present</li>
