Job Summary:
Directs and leads the delivery of cardiodiagnostic services.
Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
Primary Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Develops and leads the implementation of policies, procedures and initiatives for cardiodiagnostics services.</li>
<li>Develops departmental goals and standards consistent with medical, administrative, legal and ethical requirements of the health care delivery system.</li>
<li>Prepares departmental budget and ensures that department operates within allocated funds.</li>
<li>Develops, implements, and monitors plan for patient care services in assigned department.</li>
<li>Serves as a liaison between the service area and other department leaders.</li>
<li>Maintain department facilities and equipment in a condition to promote efficiency, health, comfort and safety of patients and staff.</li>
<li>Maintains compliance with regulatory agencies.</li>
<li>Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
 Education
<ul>
<li>Master's degree preferred, Bachelor's degree required</li>
</ul>
 Experience
<ul>
<li>Seven years' experience, with five years in direct people management/leadership required</li>
</ul>
Required Professional License and/or Certifications
<ul>
<li>Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA) AND</li>
<li>ARRT-R Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), ARRT-T Radiation Therapy - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional (CCRP) - American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) - American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR), Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) - Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) - Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer - Adult Echocardiography (RDCS-AE) - American Registry for Diagnostic Sonographers</li>
