Position Summary
Reporting to the IHT HVAC Manager, the prime responsibility of the Supervisor, Field Operations is to ensure high-quality customer experience, conduct physical inspections of jobs to ensure quality and safety, and supervising day-to-day operations. Do you have a strong background in civil engineering with final roadway design experience? You use programs like AutoCAD in order to fulfill production work on your projects as needed and/or supervise others doing that production work. You will work with your team to ensure that our projects are consistently of the highest quality.You'll be at the table with clients and colleagues from a variety of disciplines, delivering projects to construction. You will play a key role in implementing the firm's quality initiatives and in supporting business development and project pursuits. In an industry that is constantly changing, you'll be at the forefront of delivering creative solutions to challenging projects.We are targeting a salary range of $175,000-$200,000 for this position.Qualifications of a Principal Civil Engineer:

<li>A Professional Engineering license in ME (other Northeast states a plus)</li>
<li>A bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering, or relevant field</li>
<li>At least 15 years of relevant engineering experience </li>

It would be a plus if you had some of the following:

<li>A broad knowledge base in civil engineering, with specific experience in roadway design, drainage design, geometric design, 3D modeling and design of accessible public spaces</li>
<li>Proficiency in Computer Automated Design (AutoCAD or MicroStation) and design software (Civil 3D, GEOPAK or InRoads) </li>
<li>Experience analyzing and designing stormwater infrastructure, including the use of stormwater design software such as HydroCAD or HydroFlow </li>
<li>Experience developing construction documents and providing construction management services</li>
<li>Experience in preparing transportation and local agency permit documents</li>
<li>General experience leading multidisciplinary teams, coordinating utility and right-of-way impacts, street lighting, traffic signal, and landscape/hardscape layout</li>
<li>Interest in multimodal and active transportation design </li>
</ul>
