Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team, meeting our stringent quality standards. Our ideal candidate is a vibrant individual with a passion for patient care, dedicated to ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for our patients. Exceptional communication skills are essential for success in our collaborative, fast-paced, and demanding work environment. This is a full-time position based in one of our clinics.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 
<ul>
<li>Ensuring compliance with all health care regulations, including JCAHO, HIPAA and OSHA</li>
<li>Performing nursing tasks, demonstrating clinical competency as an LPN, including but not limited to: administer medications correctly, set up sterile fields correctly, and perform equipment disinfection and sterilization correctly.</li>
<li>Completing all required documentation accurately, in a timely manner, and thoroughly in accordance with company standards</li>
<li>Communicating effectively with team including physicians, Medical Assistants, Patient Coordinators and others daily clinical and surgical schedule and is able to anticipate appropriately</li>
<li>Documenting clinical and surgical chart notes appropriately and accurately</li>
<li>Ensuring the highest level of patient care and patient service is provided at all times</li>
<li>Consistently following policies and procedures to ensure positive patient outcomes</li>
<li>Increasing physicians' overall patient retention by providing the highest quality patient care and patient experience </li>
<li>Assisting in all aspects of a clinical and surgical environment</li>
<li>Remaining tactful, mature and able to get along with diverse personalities</li>
<li>Completing other projects and/or duties and assume various responsibilities as determined by Clinical Leadership Members</li>

Minimum Job Qualifications:

<li>Current ACLS and IV certification – or must get upon hiring </li>

Working alongside our Registered Nurse (RN), you’ll play a vital part in providing the highest level of care to inmates/detainees while putting a special focus on maintaining our safe and secure workplace.

<li>Perform complete physical assessment and medical history.</li>
<li>Provide nursing care within your capacity and refer other medical problems to the appropriate physician.</li>
<li>Make sure prescribed medications are administered as instructed.</li>
<li>Periodically evaluate patients' symptoms, reactions, and progress, and report problems to management.</li>
<li>Securely administer medication, taking precautions against drug hoarding and trafficking.</li>
<li>Follow industry and company accreditation policies.</li>
<li>Document all detainee/inmate contacts and keep medical records confidential.</li>

Minimum Requirements

<li>Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. Must have a current, unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state the facility is located. Maintains a current copy of license on file at the facility at all times.</li>
<li>Two (2) years of direct work experience preferred.</li>
<li>Must possess competence in the performance of the following services: crisis intervention, medical emergencies, physical assessment, medical nursing care, and psychiatric nursing care.</li>
<li>Must have the ability to work without direct, immediate supervision in performing nursing diagnosis, and be able provide appropriate follow through treatment.</li>

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. Must have a current, unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state the facility is located. Maintains a current copy of license on file at the facility at all times.</li>
<li>Two (2) years of direct work experience Licensed Practical Nurse preferred.</li>
<li>Must possess competence in the performance of the following services: crisis intervention, medical emergencies, physical assessment, medical nursing care, and psychiatric nursing care.</li>
<li>Must have the ability to work without direct, immediate supervision in performing nursing diagnosis, and be able provide appropriate follow through treatment.</li>
<li>Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.</li>
