What You’ll Do as a Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor (TCIS):
<ul>
<li>Supervise and assign inspection teams across active highway and bridge projects</li>
<li>Support the growth of construction inspection services in the Harrisburg region</li>
<li>Oversee field inspections for compliance with plans, specs, and PennDOT standards</li>
<li>Maintain detailed records of inspections, including photographs, notes, and reports.</li>
<li>Prepare inspection reports outlining findings, discrepancies, and corrective actions required.</li>
<li>Communicate with contractors, project managers, and engineers to discuss inspection results and address any issues.</li>
<li>Provide technical guidance to resolve construction challenges</li>
<li>Identify and report any deviations from approved plans and specifications.</li>
<li>Evaluate construction sites for adherence to safety protocols and regulations.</li>
<li>Report and address any safety hazards or violations promptly.</li>
<li>Coordinate with project managers, architects, and engineers and ensure construction projects progress smoothly.</li>
<li>Attend meetings to provide updates on inspections and address any concerns.</li>

Requirements:
What You Bring, Your Expertise
<ul>
<li>NICET III in Highway Construction Certification or B.S. in Civil Engineering or similar field with at least 5 years of construction inspection or construction management experience required</li>
<li>PennDOT Concrete Certification preferred</li>
<li>NECEPT Asphalt Certification preferred</li>
<li>PennDOT Guide Rail Installation, Inspection &amp; Maintenance certification preferred</li>
<li>Proven field inspection and supervisory experience on transportation projects</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of PennDOT specifications, construction standards, and QA/QC principles</li>
<li>Ability to manage project priorities and lead inspection staff effectively</li>
