<li>Review daily transactions including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable; oversee general ledger.</li>
<li>Enter health center accounts payable coding sheets into accounting system. Enter health center monthly charges and adjustments into accounting system. Enter health center program budgets into accounting system.</li>
<li>Complete transfers between bank accounts timely and accurately.</li>
<li>Provide a daily bank balance of the main bank account to the CFO and the Chief Executive Officer.</li>
<li>Maintain and balance assets and liability accounts by verifying, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolve discrepancies.</li>
<li>Aide CFO in preparing audit paperwork.</li>
<li>Prepare monthly and quarterly grant reports as needed for health center programs.</li>
<li>Implement and monitor fiscal internal control systems.</li>
<li>Perform the necessary duties in the absence of the CFO.</li>

Working Conditions:

Minimum Qualifications:

<li>Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university and two years relevant experience in accounting.</li>
<li>Two years’ supervisory experience.</li>
<li>Training or experience in the non-profit sector helpful.</li>
<li>Must be bondable with a valid driver’s license, good driving record and insured vehicle.</li>
<li>Age 21 or above</li>
<li>Computer knowledge/experience with Microsoft Office programs and accounting software required (MIP Accounting software preferred). Advanced Excel experience required.</li>

Job Description
The Staff Accountant will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting timely reporting. This position works closely with accounting leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure financial integrity and compliance.
 
Key Responsibilities

<li>Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger based on financial analysis</li>
